When Crowley took over and become King of Hell the first time, he didn't have much support. Still, he organized things and ran Hell far more effectively than Lucifer ever had. He fought tooth and nail to keep his throne. Through it all, he had one true fountain of support and it came from the most unexpected place. A human. A hunter to be exact.

For a demon who prided himself on seeing every eventually, you had been a surprise. You entered his life around the same time as the Winchesters, but had caused a whirlwind of emotions in Crowley that had blindsided him. You had even been there when Sam had gotten him hooked on human blood. You didn't cater to him the way Lola had. Granted, you didn't betray him the way she had either. You gave him tough love. And still, through it all, you had remained supportive. Now it was his turn to repay the favor.

Crowley hadn't meant to snap himself in when he did. Well, he had, but he didn't know what was going on between you and the Winchester brothers. The three of you were arguing about something and it appeared to be you against both Winchesters. That in itself was odd. One of the brothers, usually Sam, almost always took your side in arguments.

"You put yourself in danger!" Dean snapped and you rolled your eyes. "Are you serious, Dean?! Do you think I forgot about Anna? Or the Amazon? Or whatever weird relationship you've got going on with Benny? Have you forgotten about Sam's relationships with Ruby, or Madison? Or Cas' weird thing he had with Meg? Geez you act like this hasn't been a thing with the rest of you! Like I'm the only hunter to end up in bed with a monster that, by the way, I WASN'T going to sleep with!"

Crowley felt jealousy creep up into his body, but didn't have a chance to speak before you continued on, "And even if I was, it would be none of your damn business. I was about to kill them before you two idiots came barging in. I swear it's like the two of you think I can't handle myself. I've been hunting just as long as you have." Sam began arguing with you and it was Dean who noticed Crowley.

"Great, just what we need. What do you want, Crowley?" The demon in question arched a brow as you turned and gave him a tense smile. "I merely came to ask about a little demon problem I've been having. Legions of demons are going missing. Just disappearing. Don't suppose you know anything about that?" You all shook your heads as Crowley walked over to you.

"You alright, pet?" You shrugged a little, your harsh glare not leaving Dean's form. Crowley placed a hand on your shoulder before snapping his fingers and getting you out of the tense situation. You took a moment to reacquaint yourself with your surroundings, breathing a sigh of relief when you realized that he'd merely snapped you to your own motel room next door to the Winchester brothers.

"Thanks," you muttered, turning to flop face down on the bed with a groan. "What's up?" you asked although your voice was muffled by the mattress. Crowley chuckled. "Like I said, I've got a problem with disappearing demons and I thought it might be the work of those two buffoons and my favorite human in existence." He could practically hear your eyes roll even though he couldn't see it.

"Not any of us. Sorry." Crowley let out a sigh and sat down. "Are you alright?" he asked again. This time, you picked your head up from the bed. "Why do you care?" Crowley arched a brow. This was not a conversation he thought he'd be having.

"Haven't you figured it out yet, pet? You're...important to me. Far more than those flannel-clad nightmares next door. Consider the fact that, despite you being a hunter, you've fully supported my takeover of Hell all these years. You're the only one. It's one of the reasons my demons have been ordered to leave you be. The thought of you getting hurt is not pleasant. So, I support you as you supported me. Just in a different way."

You sat up and met Crowley's gaze. Your brows were pinched together in confusion. "A-Are you saying you like me, Crowley?" you asked after a minute as a smile spread across your face. Crowley laughed again. His hand came over to rest on your knee. "Bit more than 'like', pet." The grin on your lips grew. You placed your hand on top of his.

"Well, I 'a bit more than like' you too," you told him. Crowley was certain, if he'd been human, he would have died right there. You leaned over and placed your forehead against his. "I think I love you," you whispered. Crowley sighed through his nose. The thought that you loved him was almost more than he could bear. He wanted nothing more than to take you in his arms and keep you there. But he was a gentleman first so he asked, "May I kiss you, dove?"

"I'd be insulted if you didn't," came the reply before Crowley followed through. His lips met yours and you sighed happily. The kiss was short and sweet and not at all what you expected from the King of Hell. It was perfect. When you parted you opened your eyes to meet his beautiful hazel ones. "You realize this is crazy right? A demon and a hunter?"

"No more crazy than whatever monster you had in bed with you earlier." You rolled your eyes. "It wasn't in my bed," you muttered. Crowley's gaze darkened a little. "It doesn't matter in any case. I will be the only one in your bed for the foreseeable future." You arched a brow. "Oh really?" Crowley chuckled. "If that's what you want."

"Then I guess you'll have to earn it," you teased. Crowley shook his head fondly. You would be the death of him. "Happily. Now, shall we return to those morons and share the news?" You laughed. "Oh that'll piss them off...let's do it." You popped up from the bed, not letting go of Crowley's hand. Crowley was about to snap his fingers, but you lead him to the door and he decided he didn't want to let you go just yet.
