Shrieking, Tiberius jumped straight into the air. Scared for his life, he dug his talons into the ceiling and held on tight as he looked down at the others. Gazing up at the hawk, Mel leaned towards Buddy and whispered, "I think we might've have gone too far with the whole 'surprise' thing." Biting his lip, the dachshund replied back to the pug, "I think the situation would've been much worse if we accidentally gave him a heart attack and killed him." Chloe whacked the two dogs on the back of the head. Squinting his eyes, Pops murmured, "Eagle Eye, are you part bat or something?"

"Tiberius, get down here. There's nothing to be scared of," Gidget called up to her friend, trying not to laugh. Slowly pulling his talons out of the ceiling and landing gracefully on his feet, Tiberius mumbled, "Nothing to be scared of? You all gave me a heart attack! I could've died!"

"Please don't mention you dying," Leonard piped up, "We've seen you fake your death so many times that we fear it might actually be real eventually."

"Besides, happy birthday pal," Gidget added, wagging her tail. Confusion crossing over his face, Tiberius murmured, "How? I never told anyone when my birthday was except..." His voice faded as he slowly turned his head to the right to find his other best friend Norman. Crossing his wings and tapping one talon on the floor, the old hawk muttered, "Little guy, what have I told you bout telling the others things I only discuss with you?" Wringing his tiny paws together, Norman seemed extremely worried as he glanced around the room, trying to find something to look at other than the hawk's eyes. He opened his mouth but no sound came out. Biting his lip, the young guinea pig suddenly pointed towards the rest of the gang as he cried, "They begged me to do it!"

"You blurted it out! We made you do nothing!" Duke exclaimed. Sweetpea chirped and whistled, throwing his wings up in the air.

"At least he didn't say how old you are ya-" Ozone was saying but Leonard and Pops quickly covered his mouth before he could finish his sentence.

"Some days I think I'm gonna be the one to toss that cat off a building," Snowball muttered to Max. Nodding his head, the terrier replied, "Same here man."

"Oh come on, you can't tell me that you never celebrated your birthday and expect me to drop the whole subject. Trust me, you needed this," Gidget pointed out. Looking over at the fluffy white Pomeranian, Tiberius murmured, his eyes narrowed to slits, "I knew you were behind this." Shrugging her shoulders as she sighed, Gidget remarked, "Alright, you caught me with red paws. But I'm not standing off to the side and watching my best friend not celebrate his own birthday." Giving the old red tailed hawk a warm hug, she went on, "Everyone deserves a chance to celebrate their birthday, no matter who they are." Startled at first, Tiberius relaxed a little as he hugged her back and mumbled, "Thanks."

"Now that we're all calmed down," Snowball piped up, "Can we get this party started?!"
