We were born in a time of war in a world full of monster and human like creatures. Like elf's, wolf men, fairies, and anything else you could imagine. My brother/Blake and I were born as identical twins. But we were complete polar opposites. No one could tell us apart except that I was a woman and he was a man. My parents were the only ones who could tell us apart just by our faces. Dad always said I had a gentle beautiful glowing radiance about me especially when I smiled. My parents and brother were mortal. But I was born with wings like birds which made me very special. My wings were snow white. The legend is when a female creature is born with white wings like a bird a new era of peace shall be born and the earth shall become a new. The priest who delivered us said white represents everything pure and good in the world. He also told them that I must never show my wings and that I am to never be tainted by the outside world. Otherwise my wings would turn black and the world would enter an age of mass chaos and destruction. So my parents gave me to the priest that delivered us to make sure that never happened. He named me Faith. He never let me outside the church walls. He always had me prey and worship after everyday and practice the teachings of the book. He also dressed me as a man and called me Raphael so no one could tell I was a woman. My own brother couldn't even remember I was a woman or my real name. He even got a sorcerer make a necklace so no one would recognize me and so I'd look human. My parents still brought my brother to see me everyday since the church wasn't far from the castle. When my parents died suddenly parents when I was 12 leaving the throne to my brother he quiet visiting. I was forgotten. Then I'm my 18th birthday the war had reached our borders and the church was on the border. I was sleeping when I suddenly I woke up to a large crash. I got up grabbing my rosary and slipping it around my neck when someone stared banging on the door. I got up.

"Get alway from there." Father/priest yelled. When I hard something hit him and he fell to the ground. Then the door swung open and a man walked in. He looked at me. He grabbed my hand lighting it in the air dragging me towards him.

"Your a pretty little thing. Your so small and weak. He wouldn't make a very good soldier he'd die as soon as we got onto the battle field." He said, when another man looked in.

"He is a beautiful specimen but he's to weak to be a soldier. The king is looking for a new servant, I think he'd qualify." He said, he chained my wrist and picked me up. I started to protest when he put something on my mouth and eye so I couldn't talk or see. He walked over throwing me in the back of a carriage. I couldn't really move. I could feel the carriage move. When it stopped someone picked carried me and through me down.

"Get up!" A man demanded. So I looked up when someone lifted my head.

"Get up." He demanded again. I struggled to get to my feet.

"Very good." He replied, uncovering my eyes.

"His eyes. Their such a beautiful blue." He said, his eyes we're piercing. He was handsome with violet eyes and long dark hair. I could tell he wasn't human. He looked oddly familiar. When he noticed my necklace. He lifted it.

"That looks like a sorcerers. Now why would you be needing this?" He said tanking it off making me revert back to my true form. I closed my eyes. I had really long bright red hair that goes way past my waist, fair skin, red lips, big light green eyes, and ears like an elf signifying I was nonhuman every nonhuman like creature has them. It's the only way to tell their not human. I opened my eyes when I noticed he didn't do anything. He stared at me for a second then smiled.

"So that's where my little angel ran off to." He said, reaching his hand out. I closed my eyes and flinched. When he leaned closer. I opened my eyes when he caressed my cheek when I realized he was my brothers childhood best friend Michel. He was really small and gentle as a child. He used to cry over everything. Now he's the complete opposite.

"It's Blake?" The man asked behind him.

"No it's his identical twin. But from your appearance I'm guessing they lied about you being a male." Michel replied, uncovering my mouth. I rubbed my mouth.

"I asked you a question little lady." He said, I looked away. When he slit the front the front of my shirt exposing the badges on my chest.

"Stop it." I said, covering my crest and closing my eyes.

"So will you admit your a woman?" He asked, I opened my eyes.

"Fine you win as long as you stop." I answered, using my real voice.

"Very well." He said.

"Yes I'm a woman but no one knows not even my brother. So please don't tell anyone." I begged.

"Yes but why are you hiding the fact that your a woman?" He asked leaning forward. I looked away taking a deep breath letting my shirt fall and spreading my wings.

"Well I'll be damned she's the destined." The man said, which is what they call the winged being from the legend.

"But they already found her." Michel replied. I looked at him curiously.

"They already found her so you'd have to be a fake." He continued.

"What how could you even say that?" I questioned.

"Because the destined was promised to me when I was born to become my wife and she's not you." He smirked.

"Do you even know what the destined one stands for?" I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Of course I do she represents strength and nobility." He answered, I couldn't help but laugh.

"No not even close and your supposed to marry 'her' right okay. 'She' represents everything pure and good in the world. That's why 'she's' an angel genius." I snickered sarcastically.

"No she is a symbol of strength." He growled.

"You are such a bonehead. You think 'she' would seriously agree to expose 'herself' or marry a bonehead like you that easily. You are a complete moron. If only life was that simple." I replied.

"I really don't like you." He said, which hurt my feelings. But I wasn't about to let him know that.

"Well that makes two of us so can I leave? Since I'm a supposed fake." I asked.

"No." He said, angrily as he turned away. My wings started to darken into a grey.

"Why not you got your destined one what do you need me for?" I questioned.

"Because I need you for one of the other kings." He said, walking out as my wings turned black. He shut the door and I screamed. I curled up in a ball in the corner and sobbed. I finally fell asleep after crying.
