I awoke when someone picked me up. It was a soldier, a wolf man. He chained my hands and wrapped me up. He took me to the carriage climbing in setting me on his lap.

"Be careful her wings are already black we don't need to make her more distressed. Or the king will have our heads." The soldier said, as the carriage started moving. I closed my eyes as he started rubbing my back.

"So do you think this ones a fake?" Another soldier asked. When the one holding me put his hands at the base of my wings where they attach to my back.

"No because there's no crest from a sorcerer on her back they don't detach and their warm. Plus they changed color like their supposed to. None of the fakes could do that. She has to be the real thing." He replied as he rubbed my back.

"So you've already examined her? Do you think the other king knows?" The man asked.

"Ya I know what to look for since I examined all the fakes. Couldn't of or he wouldn't of gave her up so easily moron. He's so easy to fool. But I'm guessing he wasn't that gentle with her since her wings are black. When I found her she was in a dark cold room curled up in a ball in the corner. On the ground sleeping and from the looks of it she cried herself to sleep. Poor thing how could he be so rough with this little angel does he want to throw. The earth in complete chaos cause that's. What's gonna happen if her wings stay black." He replied.

"He's a moron at least our kings strong and kind. I mean he can be a brut sometimes. But that's only because he actually genuinely cares. At least we know the real ones in good hands." The other man answered, as the wolf man cradled me. Asleep in his arms. I woke up when the carriage stopped. He carried me gently out. I couldn't see where he was going. When he stopped suddenly.

"Your highness we have retrieved the girl. She looks to be at the ripe age of 18. But when I got there her wings were black. So I'd like to keep an eye on her. For a bit till they're white again." He exclaimed, when I heard someone walk over.

"So she's the real thing. Why'd he give her up so easily?" A man asked.

"Yes fakes can't change color hers can. He didn't notice. When I found her she was in a dark cold room curled up. In a ball in the corner on the ground. Sleeping and from the looks of it she cried herself to sleep." He replied, uncovering me. My wings were now grey. I looked up at him. He was tall handsome, red eyes, long blond hair, and muscular. I knew he was king Nickolai the most feared king of all. I immediately looked away putting my arms around the wolf.

"She's scared?" He asked, reaching his hand out touching my hair.

"Well I don't necessarily blame her she's been through a lot. Michel was rough with her. She just needs to get used to you." He exclaimed, Nickolai balled his fist up.

"How could he do such a thing to my sweet little angel." He replied angrily, when he seen the front of my shirt slashed open.

"He's a barbarian." He continued, scooping me up gently in his arms.

"Its okay my little angel your safe now no ones going to hurt you." He whispered, kissing my head. As my wings got lighter. He smiled, when I looked up. He took me over and sat down in his thrown setting me on his lap.

"Wolfram I want you to look after her and to be her care giver." He exclaimed, the wolf man nodded, leaving. I watched as he left.

"How dare him defile my sweet angel." He growled.

"It's Faith." I whispered, his eyes lit up.

"Are you a relation of king Blake?" He asked.

"I'm his identical twin. But he thinks I'm a man." I exclaimed.

"So that explains it." He said, hugging me against his chest. He petted my head.

"I'm here now I'll take care of you. My queen." He said, slipping something on my hand and on my finger. I looked at him questioningly when I see a ring on my finger.

"I'm claiming you as my queen." He exclaimed, kissing my cheek and pulling me to his chest. When I noticed my wings were back to they're original white. I laid my head on his shoulder when someone walked in.

"You know she's not the real one. You'll never find her so you might as well give it up and marry me. I can give you a real life unlike. That fake and I'll make a much better wife." A woman said, walking in. When I got a knot in my throat and tears swelled up in my eyes. As my wings started to darken.

"Shut it Catherine. She is the real thing her wings are proof of that fakes can't change color only the real one can. I'm not giving her up for or to anyone. You hear me so just forget it. I'm keeping my sweet angel and she'll make a fine wife. Now get out of here before you make her wings get any darker unless you have a death wish." He growled.

"You'll pay for this Nickolai." She sneered.

"Actually you will since you just threatened a king peasant. I here by strip you of your nobility. Now you have no power. Now get out of my sight you cretin." He yelled and she stormed off. When an older couple walked in. The woman had a soft gentle aura radiating off of her. She was lovely. The man had a stern yet intimating aura radiating off of him. But some how I found it comforting. They reminded me of my parents. I missed them. When the woman walked over.

"Well who's this lovey young lady?" She asked, smiling at me. Making my wings lighten up back to a white.

"Mother this is Faith. I plan on making her my queen." He answered, petting my head. She reached out and wiped my tears away.

"Is she the real one?" His father asked, as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Yes dad so please stop. We've already had my best soldier examine her. He gave me his word shes the real one. I'm don't want to stress her out. I want everyone to make her feel welcomed." He rubbed my back.

"She's trembling." His father said, putting his hand on my back.

"She's just scared. Come on dear let's go get you cleaned up. You know I've always wanted a daughter I could spoil and love. But I also want my son marry a kind and gentle young woman. Now I get both." His mother said, kissing my head. I flustered looking at her. I didn't even realize I was smiling.

"Ahh there's that beautiful smile. Your so cute I could just eat you up." She said, hugging me. I giggled. When she picked me up.

"My goodness your so light." She exclaimed carrying me. She took me to the bathroom. She kicked the door shut. Then made me a warm bath while I undressed. I got in as soon as she was done. She scrubbed my hair and body clean.

"You know you shouldn't be so shy. You are a beautiful young woman. I remember when I was your age. I miss being young. Treasure it even I'm pretty sure your a true immortal though. Which means you wouldn't grow after you hit a certain age. My son's the same. Immortality can be a curse. As much as it is a gift. It can be quite lonely. So at least I know you two will have eachother. I've seen how he suffs from it already. He's not even a hundred yet. And he's already miserable. So I'm hoping maybe you can fix that. Dear. So why not give him a chance he's a good guy? He obviously cares for you and wants to protect you." She asked assuringly. As she pulled me out before draining the tub.

"As long as I can call you mom." I teased she laughed. Hugging me kissing all my head. Making me giggle.  Before my face making look at her face.

"My darling that isn't even a question. I'd be honored if you call me mom." She said, before hugging me again. Before drying my hair. Then slipping a beautiful gown over my head. After she fixed my hair before putting some makeup and jewelry on me.

"If your going to be a queen you might as well look the part." She smiled before stepping back to admire her work.

"Perfect." She said, letting me look to look in the mirror. She's a miracle worker or something. I looked stunning.

"Nice job mom." I smiled and she kissed my cheek.

"Anything for my favorite girl." She said, walking in the room next door.

"Now wait here." She said, rushing out. I was so exhausted. That when I sat on the bed. I passed out.
