{Season 1: EP. 3}

As Vodka entered the infirmary Agent Tequila was very concerned when he saw Vodka carrying Wendy. "Why?" Was all he said. "Her power level extremely low. She passed out the cause of the altitude and the power loss. So Whiskey told me to bring her back to the infirmary." Vodka answered as she put Wendy down on the hospital bed. Wendy started mumbling nonsense. Suddenly, a boy, about Wendy's age came into the infirmary. He had jet black hair, hazel eyes, a white polo shirt with the first two buttons undone on, blue jeans, and black sneakers. Vodka rolled his eyes. "What are you doing here Agent Rum?" Vodka asked annoyed. "I'm here to check on Wendy." Rum answered. "You know Wendy? How exactly?" Vodka asked. "That's none of your business." Rum answered. "She's asleep since she uses Wind magic she can regenerate magic faster, she can get better faster." Tequila answered. "Good. Can you call me when she wakes up?" Rum asked as Vodka nodded. After Rum left Tequila looked at Vodka with a smirk on his face. "What's with the smirk?" Vodka asked. "Just nothing, but you just seemed extra agitated." Tequila answered. "Okay so, you know I hate Rum." Vodka reminded him. "I know, but you just seemed, fixated that's all. Anyways, I'll stay here with Wendy if you wanna watch the White Swan Corp Tryouts." Tequila suggested.

"It's fine." Vodka said. "Seriously, you don't need to stay." Tequila said. "No, no, I'll stay." Vodka said. "But-" Tequila started. "I said I'll stay!" Vodka scolded. "Pushy much, I was just suggesting something....but no...no!" Tequila mumbled as he left the infirmary. "Sorry about Tequila, Wendy." Vodka apologize. "That whole thing during the first test was pretty cool." Vodka added. "I wish I could use wind magic like you can. All I can use is poison magic. The hell is that suppose to do! You got cool magic." Vodka chuckled as he looked at the burns on Wendy's arms. "Probably from the breaking of the sound barrier." Vodka guessed. "So how do you know Rum?" Vodka asked. He then realized that Wendy couldn't answer him. "Right, you're asleep. Duh." Vodka sighed. "Whiskey says that your mom was a dragon, well adoptive mom. I'm guessing she never told you about your real parent. Meaning that you probably learned the wind magic from her." Vodka guessed. "Well, poison magic isn't even my natural magic. They implanted a lacrima inside of me when I was a baby. They basically made me a human test subject. It's a little weird that I'm telling you all this though. I just met you not even a 30 minutes ago." Vodka chuckled. Wendy started squirming in the hospital bed. As Vodka walked towards the cadets he grabbed the jar filled with about 20 hazelnut seeds.

"I mean, Whiskey said your adoptive mom name was Grandeeney. I never heard of a Grandeeney, but I've heard of a Pandora. She was the one who trained me in poison magic. She's kinda stern though, I mean if she caught me sleeping during training she throws me into the lake. Weirdly, that's how I learned how to swim. She's talked about Grandeeney though. She said her and Grandeeney were the best of friends. That was until Grandeeney had to leave. I couldn't even begin to know what it feels likes to lose your onl-" But before he could finish something bound him to the countertop. "You know Grandeeney?" Wendy asked with a shimmer in her eyes. "Wait, I never sai-" He was cut off. "This is perfect! We can finally go find Grandeeney! Finally! Oh, thank kami! I can finally see my mom again! And it's all thanks to you! Thank you, thank you so much!" Wendy kissed Vodka on both cheeks and hugged him tightly. Vodka's face was red as a strawberry. "Wendy you don't understand! I don't know where-" Once again he was cut off. "Oh, there's no need to lie to me Vodka! I can't thank you enough. I have to go tell Rum!" Wendy cheered. "Rum! Rum! Rum! Oh, Rum! I have great news!" Wendy ran out of the infirmary to see Rum kissing some girl with brown hair. "Rum...?" Wendy asked, her voice breaking. "Rum...I...I....wha....what's happening....?" Wendy asked. Finally, Vodka caught up Wendy again, he was out of breathing. "Kami...sakes...you run fast..." Vodka managed to say.

"Hey, you okay?" Vodka asked. "Perfectly...perfectly fine!" Wendy sobbed as she ran off. She passed Gin. "Wendy. Don't you want you-" Wendy stopped in front of him. "No! I'm not getting the stupid symbol! I never am!" Wendy sobbed even harder. "Symbol." Gin sighed as Vodka ran pass. "Wendy! Wendy wait!" Vodka yelled. "Leave me alone! I don't wanna see anyone!" Wendy sobbed as she ran up to the telephone room and closed the door. She kept sobbing as she slid down the door. "I'm so stupid!" Wendy yelled as she held onto her knees crying into them. "Why, why do I trust boys! They're all just stupid. And as soon as you start to trust them they go and break your heart!" Wendy sobbed. "Why do you cry, child?" A voice asked. "G-Grandeeney?" Wendy asked. "Yes, I'm here child. Why do you cry?" Grandeeney asked. She looked so different. She looked like a normal human woman about 25 years old. She now has short white hair then went up to her shoulders, black eyes, porcelain ivory skin, she wore a white t-shirt with a leather jacket over it, leather pants, and black biker heels. "Rum...he...he...cheated on...me!" Wendy sobbed. "Oh, my poor child." Grandeeney sighed. "Wha...what do I...I do...?" Wendy asked. "There's someone better my child. He's here, waiting for you." Grandeeney assured her. "Who...who's waiting for....for me?" Wendy asked looking at Grandeeney. "Now my child, you know as a woman, I should never, ever, tell you about that one special person in your heart," Grandeeney answered.

"Isn't it...isn't it... Rum...?" Wendy asked. "For Kami's sake no! It's someone entirely different." Grandeeney answered. "But...Rum...was there for me...he was there in the hospital during the trials...I heard him...he was talking..." Wendy sniffled. "Wendy, my dear child of the west, it wasn't him." Grandeeney sighed. "B...but...then if Rum ....isn't the one...then who is?" Wendy asked. "He's right outside that door," Grandeeney answered she started fading away. "G-Grandeeney? W-wait! Don-don't go! No-not again..." But, Grandeeney was gone. "Grandeeney! N-no! Wh-why aga-again!" Wendy sobbed. "Hey, Wendy?" Vodka asked. "Leave me alone Vodka!" Wendy yelled. "We just wanna talk Wendy." Gin said. "I don't wanna talk to anyone!" Wendy sobbed. "But Wendy-" Scotch started. "Leave me alone!" Wendy yelled. "I get it. I get what you're going thru." Tequila sighed. "Oh, course you do," Wendy said sarcastically. "Wendy. Your dragons name was Grandeeney yes?" Tequila asked. "Yes, but what does that have to do with anything?" Wendy asked. "Did she ever tell you the Dragon Saying?" Tequila asked. "Yes. the brave men didn't kill the dragon..." Wendy started. "The brave men rode them," Tequila added as Wendy opened the door. "Hey, what's wrong?" Tequila asked. "Rum broke up with me...and Grandeeney left me again!" Wendy cried into Tequila shirt.

"Wh-what?" Tequila asked. "Mm-hm! He was cheating on some girl with brown hair! And Grandeeney came here told me a bunch of nonsense, something about "The one for you is waiting outside that door." The heck is that suppose to mean!" Wendy sobbed. "Oh! I get what she means!" Tequila laughed as he ruffled her hair. "You do? What does she mean?" Wendy asked. "I can't tell you. Grandeeney wouldn't want me to." Tequila winked. "It's not like I care anyway. I have to go back to Rum anyways." Wendy sighed. "What do you mean?" Tequila asked. "When I was in the academy nobody wanted to date me or even be near me. I was the girl raised by a dragon so I must be a freak. But Rum did, he wanted to stay with me. So, I thought, if I and he ever broke up I wouldn't have anyone. Ever. So yeah he may have cheated me once or twice or maybe 4 times if you count this one. But I believe in giving people second chances." Wendy explained. "Wendy, look at me. This guy has cheated on you four times now, don't you think it's time to end the relationship?" Tequila asked. "I know I should but I wouldn't have anyone to go," Wendy answered. "Look, Wendy, as a fellow dragon rider like yourself I don't think Grandeeney would want you to be in a relationship like that." Tequila sighed. "But..." Wendy started. "If you don't end it by the start of the 3rd test. I'll take matters into my own hands. Got it, Wendy?" Tequila asked. "Yeah..." She answered desperately.

"So you're a dragon rider like me?" Wendy asked changing the subject. "Mh-hm." Tequila nodded. "Who was your dragon?" Wendy asked. "Veles. The darkness dragon." Tequila answered. "That shitty guy never gave a crap about me. Well, at times he did, but when I need him most he wasn't there. But he did teach me darkness magic. Then he left. Just like yours did." Tequila sighed, remembering the past wasn't always something he enjoyed. "Sorry to hear that," Wendy said. "It's okay. But hey, if you even need to talk, you know dragon rider to dragon rider, I'm here for you." Tequila smiled. "Thanks." Wendy chuckled. Maybe White Swan Corp won't be so bad.
