{Season 2|EP.13}

(Sorry for the short episode)

“Wow...I never knew…” Gin sighed. “It’s okay...I never told anyone other human. Don't tell your friends okay?” Matatabi asked as Gin nodded. “Hey, Matatabi.” Gin started. “Yeah?” Matatabi asked. “Sorry for hating you all those years.” Gin apologized. “It’s fine kid. Now, I have to go. And you have to find Alice and Felicity.” Matatabi chuckled as he patted his back before disappearing back into Gin’s soul. “Thanks Matatabi.” Gin muttered as he watched the sun rose morning.

“Alice...This big idiot finally understands...The real meaning of the song you sang...I know now, from the song you sang to me, I know that your love can't be unraveled so easily...Wait for me...This whole time, you always loved me for the way I am...Now, as a man, there's something I must tell you...Alice, I swear I will save you!” Gin promised, reaching his hand towards the sun.

“That sounds like one heck of a promise.” Scotch smirked. “When the hell did you get here?” Gin asked. “When you started you whole Heroic Vow.” Scotch smirk grew. “Shut up.” Gin muttered. “You’re that hung up on Alice huh?” Scotch asked sitting next to Gin. “What? No…” Gin trailed off. “So that whole vow right now didn’t happen?” Scotch slyly asked. “You’re worse than Matatabi.” Gin said, avoiding the question. “Answer the question, Gin.” Scotch sighed. “Okay, so what. You would do the same thing if Zayla was in Alice’s situation.” Gin smirked. “Zay-Zayla?!” Scotch face turned red. “Dude, it’s obvious you like her. There’s a good chance that she likes you too.” Gin punched him playfully.

“You think so?” Scotch asked. “Abostulety.” Gin answered. “When is this gonna end?” Scotch asked. “When we finally take down the D.A.” Gin said. “You know, if I wouldn’t know any better. You’re kinda smitten for Alice?” Scotch smirked. “I’m not smitten! I’m Gin! I’m don't get smitten, I smite!” Gin exclaimed. “You smile every time you or anyone else say her name you smile.” Scotch stated. “No I don't!” Gin denied. “So, last week me and Zayla were talking Alice.” Scotch randomly said making Gin smile.

“See!” Scotch laughed as Gin tried covering his smile. Scotch noticed the look in Gin’s eyes when he looked at Alice’s broken necklace. “You miss her huh.” Scotch already knew the answer to that question. “Everyday it’s like I’m losing hope a little less, and a little less, and a little less.” Gin sighed. “Remember what what you told me when Zayla almost died and I was scared out of my mind.” Gin nodded. “Don't lose hope, you never know what the future may bring.” Gin quoted. “Exactly, maybe we’ll find Alice tomorrow, or the next day, or next week, maybe next month. But, even if it takes 100 years, don't dare lose up hope.” Scotch said punching him playfully.

“Stop using my words against me, it’s hopeless. We’ve been looking for Alice for the longest! We haven’t found her. There’s no point anymore.” Gin sighed. “But hey, if you think that then let’s stop looking.” Scotch blatantly said. “What?” Gin asked. “You heard me. We’ll stop looking, pack up, and go home.” Scotch answered. “That stupid!” Gin scolded. “No, it’s not. You said there no point anymore. So, we’ll go back home.” Scotch said. “Fine.” Gin sighed as Scotch slapped him. “What the fuck?!” Gin yelled. “Stop this shit! Stop this shit right now!” Scotch yelled.

“What?” Gin asked. “Stop being all mopey! Where the hell is the Gin I used to know? The one that would do anything for his friends. The one who told me to never give up, even when it seemed like all hope is lost! Cause god dammit, Gin! I hate seeing you like this!” Scotch yelled. “Dammit Gin! You love Alice don't you?” Scotch asked. “Of course I do!” Gin answered, flinging his arms in the air. “Then don't you dare lose hope on her! For fuck’s sake, Alice might be the woman you marry! You would do anything to save her, just like I would do anything for Zayla. But does she know that? No! Cause apparently my dumb self can’t say 3 easy words to her!” Scotch yelled.

“Um Scotch…” Gin started. “No, I’ve spent the past two years trying to get Zayla out of my head but did it work? No! Now she’s back, better than ever, and I can’t a damn thing about these stupid feeling. People keep on telling me it’s okay to let passion take over you. But is that really okay? I think not! Feelings lead to bad things, and I don't want anything to happen to Zay.” Scotch ranted, sitting in the sand. “Scotch!” Gin yelled. “What?” Scotch asked. “You might wanna turn around.” Scotch turned around to see Zayla standing there. “I-I-I…” Zayla stuttered as she looked at Scotch. “Zay-” Scotch started. “I-I hav-have to go!” Zayla ran off.

Meanwhile, miles away from the group. Felicity was tossed into a cold wet cell. “Right where I began. Great.” Felicity sighed. “Fel-Felicity?” A voice asked. “Alice?!” Felicity called out as Alice tackled him. “Felicity!” She cried into Felicity’s shoulder. “I-I was so worried!” Alice sobbed. “Shh...it’s okay.” Felicity hand stroked her back. “Wh-why ar-are you here?” Alice stuttered, choking on her tears a bit. “They found out about the tracking device.” Felicity sighed. “I-Is Gin okay?” Alice asked, worried filled her voice. “He’s fine. Don't worry. I’m gonna find a way out of here.” Felicity assured her.
