Endeavor fumed as he finally found the house where Shoto was. The courage of that boy was really something. Not only had he frozen the entire house which Endeavor had to melt but also he had run off somewhere else. He was going to get in huge trouble.

He knocked on the door.

It opened to reveal Makoto.

"Yes?" she asked, making a huge show of yawning, "Something wrong, Endeavor?"

"I am here to take Shoto back," he growled out. He didn't have any backup, nor was he wearing his hero costume. He imagined that it would be a peaceful conversation.

"Unless you seriously want me to call the police on you, Mister, for child abuse and the like, I suggest that you leave. He is way better over here than he ever was at your place," Makoto's eyes narrowed as she automatically took a fighting stance.

"EXCUSE ME? HE IS MY SON AND I HAVE FULL RIGHTS TO HIM, KIDNAPPER."

"He isn't your right to beat up. He has visible bruises on his body, flinches whenever someone tries to speak to him, clams up on default when people are looking at him and on top of that, he has a horrible burn mark on his left eye," Makoto practically growled, "Psychological and Physical Abuse. No one is outside law, Mr. Number 2 hero, I am calling the Child Services for this."

Endeavor paled and then flushed with anger.

"THE BURN WAS BECAUSE OF MY CRAZY WIFE, I DIDN'T DO A THING ABOUT THAT. BESIDES, YOU HAVE TAKEN HIM AWAY, YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PROOF THAT THE SCARS ARE DUE TO ME, IT COULD BE VERY WELL DUE TO YOU BEATING HIM UP."

The door burnt up and Makoto took a visible step back, her hand clutching a dagger she kept. It wouldn't exactly be much of use against Endeavor but it never hurt to try.

Keeping her voice even, she started speaking again, "You have broken into my house on unproven charges, which is a crime, hero or not. Besides, your record is no where near clean. Your wife claims that she is scared to death because of your abuse on your son and her. There are also reports of one Touya Todoroki, who has mysteriously disappeared from the public eye and is claimed to have died because of you. And there are a lot of—"

But Endeavor wasn't listening.

"SHOTO, WHERE ARE YOU, SHOTO, COME HERE, WE ARE LEAVING."

"DON'T INTERRUPT ME," Makoto finally snapped, unsheathing the dagger.

"Uh, I heard shouting—," Izuku's eyes widened as he took in the hulking form of Endeavor. He looked terrifying. A part of him wanted to analyse the hero's Quirk, but this simply wasn't the time to do so.

Shoto flinched when he saw exactly what was going on.

Endeavor noticed his small form trembling behind Izuku.

"THERE YOU ARE, NOW COME HERE."

To his utter dismay, Shoto didn't move from his spot, instead he shrunk back, eyes wide and fearful.

"See?" Makoto snapped, fed up, "This IS what you have done to him. We didn't kidnap anyone, he is scared to death because of YOU. What have you got to say to this?"

"I am getting Shoto back. I will train him to surpass All Might."

Endeavor was nothing if not stubborn.

He took a step towards him, but his path was blocked by Makoto.

"You aren't hurting him anymore."

"You are in the way," he growled, trying to push her aside with a flaming hand.

The flames touched the metal on her head, as her synthetic brain malfunctioned and she howled, automatically bringing the dagger up to his neck.

This day would haunt all of their nightmares.

Horrified but not knowing what to do, the two kids stood back, hugging each other as Endeavor snapped and activated his flames to get the dagger off himself.

Which had the effect of frying Makoto's circuits which led to her dropping dead at his feet.

Endeavor took a step back in shock. The power he had used wouldn't have killed a normal human, just mildly burnt them, but here there was, a smoking mess of metal at his feet.

He was shocked enough to not notice when Tomura Shigaraki leapt from a side room and disintegrated his shoulder joint, causing his arm to fall off. Flames shot at him a second later but he dodged and landed in front of him.

"Get tf out, murderer," he sounded beyond furious, "Not only did you traumatize your own kid, but you also decided to murder Makoto. Yuck off."

"I am NOT leaving without said kid," Endeavor snapped, he didn't really care at that moment.

"What the hell is going on over here," a vigilante who had been roaming somewhere in the streets came into the house hearing the commotion, "Oh. Endeavor."

He had a mask on, which covered his face and his hair was tied up like a samurai and he wielded twin katanas. His entire demeanor changed when he saw what was going on. From his point of view anyways. A girl was lying dead at the hero's feet, and a boy was crying and who kids were whimpering in terror.

It took him exactly one second to decide that Endeavor was the one to blame.

"Heroes like you deserve to die," he spoke, taking out his katanas.

Shoto's eyes widened. His mind had been a mess since yesterday and this was too much to handle. It wasn't that he loved his father, but the reason he lashed out with his ice was because he didn't want the rest of them to bear the brunt of his father's awful temper.

The house froze and an ice wall encased Endeavor. Tomura turned around, adrenaline overtaking the grief for a moment.

"Do you really really want to go back to him?"

Shoto knew that this answer would seal his fate. He took one look at the rapidly melting wall of ice and all that he had suffered because of the man came to his mind immediately.

"No."

"Then run."

The Vigilante on the other hand had been intercepted, both by a call and the ice. And then by many more people rushing to see what had created the commotion. He turned tail and ran from there, because so many people would never let him finish his job.

However, silently in his mind, he added this hero to his list of totally corrupted heroes.

Tomura had managed to take the both of them out of that house and to where Sensei resided.

Sensei hadn't shown any signs of upset, he had just asked the Doctor to make arrangements.

Shoto took a look back at what used to be his life. He looked at the one he was going to.

He had made a decision when stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Hopefully, it wasn't that bad.
