After a good fucking up of the many other teams, Team Fairy Tail had collected a shit ton of maps and Lucy decided to bring them all to the center of the Labyrinth. Also Akuma and Natsu tied for last so they're going to have to do rock paper scissors to determine who gets their pubes waxed.

Seth (POV)

Lucy- I feel like there's no point trying to head east from the surface of the labyrinth. We're just going to end up running in circles because the stupid thing keeps rotating.

Elfman- It's that why you decided to bring us to the center of it instead?

Lucy- Yeah. I thought I'd be easier to find east from here but apparently I was wrong.

Erza- Who would've thought we'd find such a peaceful landscape in the middle of this monstrosity.

Seth- Yeah you could say that. Except the fact is, it's upside down. And if that wasn't strange enough, there's no sense of direction in here. The compass is completely useless.

Akuma- Man this sucks. We're lost and I gotta rock paper scissors with Natsu so my balls don't get yanked off with the pubes. I need my dick. I actually use mine.

Seth- Says the guy who's only action he gets is with his right hand, lotion, and the hub on a Friday night. Ayoooooo!!

Indigo: God damn. I'll go get started with the ice bath because you're definitely going to need it after that one.

Akuma- YOU LEAVE ME AND MY DICK ALONE. WHAT I DO AND DONT DO WITH IT IS MY BUSINESS AND MY BUSINESS ALONE! (Gets smacked upside the head by tsukiko) Ok yep. I deserved that.

Tsukiko- Anyway, broken compass or not, we have to keep moving. We can't afford to just be standing here.

Lucy gets smug and summons that compass spirit again. It takes little to no effort for it to help us again after what happened last time.

Gray- That's one simpleminded spirit.

Natsu- Yeah but I bet he's still smarter than Erza.

Akuma- Yeah no kidding. If you compare the two, the spirit would be in the college credit classes while Erza would be in the assisted help class.

Seth- Oh Akuma buddy, what have you done? That's your death certificate written right there. You may want to take a look behind you.

Akuma- (clears throat) You see, I would just like to say that I did not mean any of that and-

Erza- Natsu, Gray, I'll deal with you two later but you Akuma, I'm going to find the strongest wax here in the city and rip off your entire crotch PERSONALLY.

Seth- See, she don't need my help. You done fucked up my boy and I can't save you hahaha.

Tsukiko- You better not look at me either because I have no intention of saving your sorry behind.

Indigo: Ok forgo the ice bath and call the ambulance. We may need a penis and balls replacement surgery.

Anyway, the spirit finds east which just so happens to be pointing upwards.

Nastu- You sure he's right about this?

Lucy- Im positive. Trust me Celestial Spirits are way stronger than a boring old compass.

Elfman- Any idea how are we going to get up there?

Seth- Isn't it obvious? Just give it second.

The labyrinth rotates again causing everything to be right side up and we fall down into the river of the town. We climb out of after a few minutes and get back to heading eastward. The path takes us across an ocean of all things.

Akuma- Wha?! How in the hell did they fit an ocean into this?!

Lucy- Who cares about that. How long is the freaking path?

Gray- Quit whining and look up.

Erza- The sky above us isn't real. It's been painted on.

Lucy- If that's the case, then this must actually lead somewhere.

Elfman- And that's gotta be the goal.

Natsu- Ok team. It's time for one final sprint. Let's go!

All of us kick it into next gear and run for all of our worth to the goal. Waiting for us there is the pumpkin head guy giving us a round of applause.

Pumpkin head- Elfman Strauss, Erza Scarlet, Gray Fullbuster, Lucy Heartfilia, Natsu Dragneel, Akuma Nikushimi, Tsukiko Nikushimi, and Seth Alighieri. Woohoo congratulations Team Fairy Tail. You've cleared the preliminary round.

Natsu- We did it!

Lucy- I'm dying to know. Did we come in first place?

Pumpkin head- Hmmmmmmmm no. For like eighth place. Dead last. You just barely qualified.

Everyone is left big eyed.

Seth- Ok First place was the goal but if we didn't get first I was ok with that. But dead last? God damn!

Meanwhile
Mandy (POV)

Lisanna, Happy, and myself were looking in the last place we haven't searched which happened to be the castle grounds in the city. The pumpkin head hologram announced the preliminary round was over and we'd have to wait until opening ceremonies later.

Lisanna- It sounds like the preliminary round over. I wonder if our team made it through.

Mandy- I'm sure they did but now that it's over, I'm sure Seth will want to see Wendy. Gotta keep searching.

We come across Happy who went a different way when we entered the castle gardens.

Happy- Look, I found this.

Mandy- A purse......Wendy's purse.

Happy- Now I'm really worried. What happened to them?

Mandy- Seth is going to flip when he sees this. He's going to turn this city upside down to find Wendy.

Lisanna- Let's not panic. She's probably around here somewhere. There's no way she's gotten far.

Mandy- You're right. Let's keep searching.

It didn't take us that much longer to find Wendy and Carla out cold further into the garden. A quick message to Warren via his telepathy let him and the rest of the guild know our location. They're not injured but I barely sensed any magic power coming from the girls. Wendy starts to come to moments later.

Wendy- Please....please don't hurt me.

Lisanna- It's ok. You're safe. It's Lisanna do you recognize me?

Happy- I'm here with you too.

Mandy- Speak to us.

Wendy- Happy......Lisanna.....Mandy........what in the world happened?

Happy- We were going to ask you the same thing. You don't remember?

Wendy-.......No........

Mandy *mind*- She goes missing, we mind her and Carla laid out in the castle gardens, and they're both sapped of magic. Could this be Sabertooth's doing? Or perhaps.........something more dastardly is at play here in this city.
