After adopting Annie, gyro's life could never been more sweeter.

Annie grew up loving him and over time as gyro raised Annie, he was searching for her parents too.

It's not that he wanted to get rid of her, he wanted to know why her real parents abandoned her.

He had run DNA test on her to find clues on where she came from.

At a computer, her results came in ve and reported that she came from saint canard.

Gyro: hmm interesting

He was then given a long list of millions of people that lived in saint canard that could be her parents.

Gyro: ugh

He grabs his head and rubs it as he gotten a headache then he looks back at Annie and saw that she was hugging lil bulb.

It made him smiled and he remembered who he was doing this for.

Gyro: well I better get to work if I'm going to find her real family

Over time as he became closer to finding her real parents, Annie grew up and grew loving him like a real dad, he became loving her like she was his own daughter.

She came home from middle school, age 13 she was wearing a choker, her hair was red a black headband and a black and white school uniform with black boots.

Gyro: hey Annie

Annie: hey dad

She walks over to him and kisses his cheeks.

Gyro: how was school

Annie: good how was working for mr. Mcduck

Gyro: ok

Annie: I'm going to be outside

Gyro: ok but don't talk to strangers

As gyro was secretly working on finding her parents, Annie was doing a little mission on her own. She was trying to find out who she was.

Growing up, she found herself different from hi man's she often wonder who her mom was.

She didn't know how but she was going find out where her real mom is and how is she related to gyro.

But over time she became tired of finding her mom and focused on something else....singing.

She then decided that she wanted to be a rockstar, she sing a lot at talent shows.

When she turned 18, gyro found out where her real parents where and decided that he should finally tell her since she was old enough.

She came home from practice, she was wearing a blue sweater, black hot-shorts and black biker boots, her hair gotten long but was a Bob cut. as she got to gyro's house, she hide her electric guitar behind a bush, she never told gyro she was a singer but today.

She was going to do it. She looks up at the house, nervous and terrified but then takes a deep breath.

Annie: (sigh) ok Annie you can do this, he's your dad, he'll understand

She opens the door, fakes a smile but then she saw gyro sitting on a chair, he was looking sad as he looks up at Annie. This had her worry.

Annie: hey dad-uh is everything ok

He walks up to her slowly and grabs her shoulders, she gets scared.

Gyro: Annie we need to talk

Confused she sits down with with in the table, then he grabs her hands in his.

Gyro: Annie there's something I need to tell you, it's something I never told you before but now that your eighteen now I think it's about time I told you something about yourself

Annie: ok?

He takes a deep breath and breaths out.

Gyro: you're not Really my daughter

This made her shocked.

Annie: (gasp) what

Gyro: your a orphan

She gets up, her world was trembling and her heart shattered.

He then takes her to his garage and shows her old carriage.

Gyro: many years ago when you were a baby you were found on Scrooge mcduck's steps, he wanted to get rid of you, so he gave me you, I took you in and treated you like my own and over time When I raised you I was searching for your real parents and well I found who your dad is

She was surprised but shocked by why he never told her.

Annie: (gasp) you found my real dad

Gyro: yes I know where he is

Annie: that's great but how come you never told me that I was a orphan

Gyro: because I didn't wanted you to think of me less I thought if I told you, you'd leave me for lying to you, I thought you'll hate me

She saw how shameful he look as he tilt his head and faced away from her, she smiles and puts he hand on his cheek and pulls his face to her.

Annie: I could never hate you, not after how you took me in when no body want me and even after I finally meet my dad, I will never forget you

He smiles, takes her hand and holds it in his.

Gyro: come on let's go see your dad

He drove her to saint canard and as she was excited to finally meet her dad, she was nervous as she saw how they were moving next to a suite building.

Gyro: well we're here

She gets out and looks up at the building.

Gyro: he's in the penthouse

She wanted to be with her real dad but as she reaches to the doors, she looks back at gyro and remembered all the things he did for her, she couldn't leave him like that.

She walks up to him and grabs his hands.

Annie: I just want you to know that whatever happens, you'll always be the best dad I ever

He smiles then she goes back to the door and as she takes a deep breath, she walks inside and as she got to the penthouse.

(Knock, knock)

She knocks on the door and felt nervous when she heard someone yelling.

Steelbeak: who is it

She shakes as she opens the door then she walks inside and saw a roaster with a Steel for a beak, he was finishing talking on the phone.

Steelbeak: can I help you

He turns around and was surprised to see Annie, she was surprised to see him too, but even though he didn't recognize her, she recognized him.

Steelbeak: well hello there doll, what's your name

Too nervous to say anything, she just walks slowly but then smiled as she ran up to him.

Annie: mr. Steelbeak

Steelbeak: yeah do I know you

Annie: my name is Annie and I'm your daughter

His eyes open wide in shock as she hugged him tight, she was expecting a happy reunion....but got this instead.

Steelbeak: what

He pulls her off, grabs her shoulders and pushes her back.

Annie: huh

Steelbeak: look kid, you must got me mistaken, I am not a father, I can't have kids, they'll just slow me down

Annie: but I been searching for you

He then got a closer look and realized how her eyes match amonia pines this made him panicked.

Steelbeak: oh no, you are mine

He presses his hand on his face in disappointment.

Annie: (gasp) but what happened to you and mom and why did you abandon me

Steelbeak: fine you want to know here why, I never wanted you

Her heart started to break a bit.

Annie: huh why

Steelbeak: because of you annoying mother, let me tell you something, you're mother had a crazy obsession with cleaning and when I heard that she was pregnant with you, I panicked cause I realized that you might end up like her, so turned down both of you

Annie: but I'm not like her, I don't have a obsession of cleaning

Steelbeak: look kid hey it through you head. I...don't...want...kids, and I don't care if your mine i will never love a kid like you

Tears begin to form underneath her eyes and her heart broke in two.

Steelbeak: no go and get

He shows her the door, she turns around, walks outside then she began to tremble as the parent she was excited and looking for, never wanted or love her.

She fell on the ground and broke down.

Annie: (sobbing)

Outside as gyro was waiting for her, he saw her finally coming out, still moping in sadness.

Gyro: hey how'd it go

She then cried again as tears fell hard down her face. She ran to him, hugged him tight and buried her face in his chest.

Annie: (sobbing)

Gyro: oh hey what happened

He wraps his arms around her, holding her tight.

Annie: it turns out my dad never wanted me, and maybe he was right, no one could want me for a daughter

Gyro felt bad for her, was angry at her awful dad but smiled as he Pat her back.

Gyro: no Annie, he's wrong, I'd love having you for a daughter, I always have

She looks up and smiles.

Annie: (sniffs) you're right, I don't need him, he's not a good dad, I don't need him when I have you, I love having you for a dad, you're the only dad I need

She hugs him tight and he returns the hug back, they stayed like this for a moment.

When they returned home, she saw at the table was a birthday cupcake, she turns around to see him coming behind her and lighting the candle.

Gyro: happy birthday Annie

She smiles at him then blows out the candle.

She then was about to tell him.

Annie: dad

Gyro: yes

Annie: there something I need to tell you

Gyro: what is it

Annie: I decided to be a singer, I been studying to play the guitar and I been doing good

She tilts her head in shame, then he smiles.

Annie: I'm so that I can't be a scientist like you

He then grabs her shoulders.

Gyro: it's okay Annie, you can be whatever you want, if you want to be a singer go ahead just know that, I'd always be proud of you

She smiles, then he pulls her in a embracing hug.

Gyro: you know the greatest thing that's ever happened to me was having you for a daughter

She smiles and cries tears of joy as she returns the hug back.

Gyro: I love you Annie

Annie: I love you too dad

It then became graduation when it was time for Annie to leave for college, she was 19, she wore black leggings, red boots, jean shorts, a red sequin tank top and black leather jack.

Her hair was in a ponytail, she was at the train station with two suitcases and her guitar.

She looks back to see gyro seeing one last time and wishing her goodbye.

Gyro: well this is it, I am sure going to miss you Annie, the best years of my life was raising you and watching how an incredible woman you became

She smiled then she started to tear up.

Gyro: you take care now ok

He grabs her shoulders and lil bulb hugged her goodbye, they looked up at each other.

Gyro: you have grown up so fast, I wish I could keep you as a kid

She then began to cry and hugged him tight, surprised he hugs her back.

Annie: thank you (sobs) thank you for everything, you may not be my real dad but you're the best dad I could ever ask (sobs)

Gyro: I'll miss you too, Annie

They let go, he places his hand on her cheek and wipes off her tears.

Gyro: you take care of yourself ok

Then the train was about to leave, they quickly let go, she throws her bags in and jumps on the train on time.

She pops her head out and sees hydro waving at her, she waved back.

then goes to take a seat, she opens up her guitar case and sees a picture of her and gyro smiling on her 12 birthday, he was holding her, she then smiles.

Her real dad Steelbeak May have given up on her and her mom but at least she had one parent how loves her.
