~"The eyes tell more than words could ever say"

Siddharth's pov:

So... Avneet finally managed to take Bob back.  Damn that face she made I literally wasn't able to resist it and gave in.
"I can't sleep without him" was all she had to say in that small voice and I handed her her stuff toy back.

But there was something else in her eyes which I couldn't really catch, I don't know maybe iam overthinking but I always feel there is way more to this girl than she lets the world see.

"Avneet" Naira who was sitting on the couch laying  on her boyfriend's shoulder said quite abruptly making Avneet's head turn in her direction , who was sitting besides me on the grass infront of the couch.

"Naira" Avneet said in the same tone.

"Don't you think it's quite sunny today" she added looking at the sky

And Avneet nodded
"Yeah it is! Infact the afternoons are quite hot  for the regular weather at this time " she said agreeing
Naira then shifted her gaze back to Avneet and squinted her eyes
"Than why the hell are u always wearing these full sleeves clothes.?!" She said jumping and sitting straight looking at her.
She was right it wasn't even November yet and only the nights were cold it was a lot warm in the morning. "Um- actually" Avneet shifted nervously and i noticed her hand subconsciously reaching her left arm and fixing the sleeve their.

All three of us were looking at her intently while she fumbled with her words. "Actually....it's-it's just my style" Avneet said finally coming up with an excuse, and then swiftly got up and left.

Three of us shared a knowing look we knew she was lying but let it pass not wanting to force her.

Day 27 , 01:01 pm

"So all of you would have played the game of hide n seek when u were younger. You have to do something like that."
Anaya began reading as we all gathered in the living room for our new task.

"The housemates will be devided into two groups seekers and snitchs.
The snitches needs to hide before the buzzer goes out the seekers would be gathered in the bedroom while the snitches hide so that they don't see where they are hiding.

The seekers  who've caught maximum snitch and the snitches who managed to be hidden till the end will be the nominees for the position of our next prefect (captain).

Note: this isn't a group thing everyone is playing for there individual self in the task whom to support is completely your choice.

SEEKERS : Siddharth , Naira , Dane , Aditi , Rudra & Aryan.

SNITCH: Avneet , Kartik , Manan , Tanya , Ivaan & Anaya

Hope everyone will be giving there best the first person (snitch) caught will become the invigilator of the task.

"ohk so technically Naira and Me are against Avneet and Kartik. " I said

"Well there are plenty other people you can catch other than us two " Kartik said

"Exactly why would you catch your own friends" Avneet barged in

"I didn't meant that-
I began

"Whatever" she said and i rolled my eyes while she struck out her tongue childishly.

"Guys we are going off topic concentrate pls" Naira said

"Yeah we need a strategy " kartik added

"So it's clearly written it's not a group thing and we have to play individually." i started as I re-read the letter describing the task by bigg boss .

"But its also written u can support whoever you want to "

Avneet said hopping besides me and leaning to read   the letter in my hand I took as slight glance of her face which was much closer to mine. I noticed a loose strand of hair dangling from side and I felt a sudden urge to tuck it behind and I had raised my hand slightly to do it when- *ahm* and I was pulled out of my trance my hand still half in the air and I realized what I was doing I ran my hand through my hair and saw Kartik who was standing behind me give me a slight smirk I just looked away.

"Ok so that means" Avneet began as she sat straight

"We can play the way we want as it is not mentioned that you can't help other contestants " She stated

"Right! That means siddharth you and I have to make sure that no one finds Avneet and Kartik lets just hope we are the one's who find u guys first so that we can try and prevent others from coming there and checking "
Naira said looking at me

"Yeah you both just find a good place to hide so that no one is able to find you atleast not before us"
I said and they nodded

"We need to try our best so that atleast one of us becomes the nominee for prefect" Kartik stated while we all agreed with him.

"We need a Gryffindor prefect (captain) this week" Avneet cheered

And we dispersed to get ready.

We didn't pre discussed the places where they are planning to hide as it can always change last moment like if they find a better place or someone had already occupied that place besides if everything would be fixed it'll be no fun at all.

There had been props for all of us for the task which were a tshirt with a snitch printed on it for the snitches and a broom print tshirts for the seekers

But they were all free size t-shirts it was exactly my size and fitted Kartik pretty well while slightly loose on Naira then  I looked Avneet who was standing her arms folded and brows furrowed.

The tshirt was extremely loose as well as long on her reaching almost her mid thigh, but boy she did looked adorable.

"Come on Avneet cheer up u generally wear such baggy clothes doesn't make a difference " Naira said nudging her

"Besides you look cute " she added and I felt Avneet's eyes on me I don't know why but i just nodded agreeing.
And her face lit up

"Okay if u all say so!" She said now slightly grinning.

And Naira patted her back "good lets go now"

And we all walked to join the rest of the contestants.

Also there are names of the 3 contestants missing as three people are eliminated (as it's been 27 days now) but that shouldn't really bother any of us ;) as our main leads are still there going strong as always.

Incase u don't know what snitch is

The Golden Snitch, often simply called the Snitch, is the third and smallest ball used in Quidditch.  It flies around the Quidditch field at high speeds, sometimes pausing and hovering in place. And it is caught by the seeker
And it is the toughest to catch and hold the maximum points in quidditch (a sport in wizarding world.)
