((Graces pov))
Kaity and I walked to the place I was taking her to.
After about twenty minutes, we finally got there.
"We're here!" I said, pulling Kaity over to the weeping willow tree, a pond with a couple swans here and there.
"Woah!! This is just wow" Kaity said, looking around.
"You like it?" I asked, leaning up against the trunk of the tree, patting the ground for Kaity to sit next to me.
We sat there for about five minutes, admiring the beautiful nature.
It started to rain leaving me and Kaity stuck under the tree.
"Welp we're stuck" I said, looking at Kaity.
"Oh well" Kaity replied.
I stared at Kaity for a while, before getting up.
"What the fuc-" Kaity started to say before I cut her off, by making her stand up as well.
"What are you doing?" Kaity asked.
I got out my phone and started playing 'Just the way you are'. Kaity gave me a confused look.
I wrapped my arms around Kaity, and she did the same. She looked down at our feet, as we just rocked back and forth.
I took my index finger and made her look up at me, her face started to turn crimson red.
Toward the middle of the song, I pulled Kaity closer to me.
"W-What are we d-doing?" Kaity asked, biting her lip.
"Kaity........ I...... I lo-" I started to say but got cut off by some thunder. Startled I jumped, into Kaitys arms.
"What? I couldn't hear you over the thunder" Kaity said, pulling me closer to her, if possible.
"Kaity I'm not gonna fucking lie to you....... But ..... I fucking like you" I said, with pure confidence.
Kaity stood there shocked.
Shit did I just ruin things
Kaity looked at me, with wide shocked eyes, mouth wide open in an 'O' shape.
Shit I think I just ruined-
I was cut off my train of thought by Kaity, taking my hand in hers.
"Guess what....... I fucking love you" Kaity said, pulling me into a hug.
"Really!?!" I said, getting shocked at the news.
"Yes! Really" Kaity replied.
I pulled Kaity into a hug
"Uhh we better go" Kaity said, starting to run back to her house.
"Kaity wait!" I yelled, Kaity stopped running and picked me up bridal style, and started running again back to her house.
_____At the house___
We got onto Kaitys porch, and she set me down. As we opened the door, Kaity was pulled inside, and before I got a chance to come in, the door was slammed shut.
"KAITY!!" I screamed.
((Kaitys pov))
I was dragged inside and before Grace got the chance to come inside the door was slammed shut.
"WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU!!!!" Dad yelled into my face.
I stayed silent.
"TALK YOU LITTLE SHIT" mom yelled, throwing the remote at me.
And I did something that I would regret.
"DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME ASS HOLES" I yelled, immediately regretting it.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY!" Dad said, throwing his beer bottle at me, I covered my face.
My dad picked me up by my hair and dragged me, to the wall.
He picked me up slamming me into the wall as hard as he could.
I bit my lip to keep myself from screaming and crying.
He did it over and over again. When I couldn't take it anymore.
"GRACE!!!! PLEASE!!" I yelled out in pain.
"SHES NOT GONNA FUCKING HELP YOU!!!! SHE DOESN'T EVEN LIKE YOU!!! WHO WOULD" dad spat. Smacking me, and kicking me.
He kicked me one last time, and called me a faggot, before both him and my mom left the house.
I curled into a ball and cried.
I cried harder than I've ever cried before.
"GRACE!!" I shrieked in pain.
I heard someone bang on the door, and I crawled to it unlocking it.
Grace ran in, wrapping her arms around me. I was crying, blood all over me, my breathing heavy, and my heart beat unsteady.
Grace tried to help me to my room, but I told her I was fine, and that I could do it on my own. But she didn't listen, and she helped me anyways.
She set me on my bed. Looking at my already ugly self, to even more ugly.
I don't understand how she could love a depressed emo faggot
Grace sat next to me. Wrapping her arms around me gently
"I love you. Don't let them get your head. Just because they hate you. Doesn't mean I do" Grace said, trying to calm me down.
I leaned my head in her shoulder. "I love you too" I said, kissing her cheek.
After that I was fast asleep in Graces lap.
