Just something from my head canon book
------

A crafter looks into the jungle before her. Her two companions, both big ocelots, stand by her side. In her arms is a purple blanket, bundled up to where you couldn't see what was hidden. Her face was covered by a black and white cloak, a blue fire pattern ran up the arm lengths.

"We're safe my little sorcerer," she whispered, gently shifting the blanket in her arms, "this is your new home."

--

A toddler, no older than three, wobbled around a large library, hanging onto the shelves when needed. The female crafter was moving books with her blue fire aura, placing and pulling them from the shelves. The two cats were near the entrance, keeping an eye on both.

"Mama mama mama," the three year old giggled, landing in her lap. The sorceress laughed and pulled the toddler into a hug.

"What is it my growing Sorcerer," she cooed, getting the boy to giggle.

"Hi mama."

"Hi my little sorcerer."

--

The sorceress moved about the room gracefully, looking behind objects around the room.

"Where are you my little sorcerer," she called out, getting a muffled giggle in respond, "I just cannot seem to find him..."

She checked behind a chest again, a smile on her face, "oh well. Looks like this pie is all mine~"

"Noooo mamaaaa," a boy no older than seven popped out from behind some bookshelves, a purple cloak swallowing him up. She laughed and walked over to him, picking him up.

"I see you found your birthday present."

"Yeaaaah," he giggled and clung onto her, "it's so warm."

"Happy Early Birthday my dear Sorcerer."

--

The sorcerer was now older, around 12. He watched behind a corner as two men walked through front door, both equally scary looking to him. One had white eyes and one had black.

"Mama they're back," he called out, watching her come out of the library. She face paled, but she kept a straight look.

"Go play with the cats in your room My Sorcerer."

"But who are they?"

"Just a council meeting dear, now go on."

--

"When I'm older, I'm going to protect you from the council," the boy said as the Sorceress carried him to bed later that night, "I'm going to build a biiiig house for us to live in."

She laughed, but it held so much more behind in, "oh? How old will you be?"

The 12 year old took a moment to think, "well, waaaaaay old."

"Old like me?"

"You're not that old!"

"Yes I am," she laid him in his bed, tucking his brown hair behind his ear, "tomorrow, how about we play hide and seek in the village?"

"Yeah!"

"Alright. Goodnight my brave sorcerer."

--

The sorceress teleported them to the village the next day, the purple clocked child still held onto her.

"Now count to 20 and come find me," she knelt down and said, fixing his hair up, "and then I'll find you."

There was sadness in her voice, but the excited child didn't notice.

"1... 2... 3..."

--

"18... 19... 20... Here I come!"

--

The same cloaked child, but now 17, stood in the middle of an abandoned home. Vines from the jungle trees have overridden it, making the place look worse than it was.

"I don't want to play anymore," he yelled at nothing, voice cracking at the end, "I quit!! I'm done seeking!!"

He was greeted by silence.

I swear I meant for this to be happy
