Chains rattle in the distance, snapping Abbey out of her brief moment of tranquility. She quickly gazes out of the passenger car, clinging tightly onto the gate as she peeks through it in an attempt to spot Nathan. Her eyes peer back up to the front entrance of the amusement park and this time she finds herself hoping that somebody did spot them entering the park earlier and called the police. She prays that, any moment now, they will arrive—the red and blue lights flashing in her eyes as they find her friends and gather the group to question why they're here. She'd happily take a ticket over this shit.

"Nathan?!" She calls out, her voice echoing through the empty fairground. As she feared, she gets no response as she slowly leans back in her seat.

Music suddenly blares from a nearby speaker as the Ferris wheel revives itself, the passenger car jolting as it starts to rotate in its normal clockwise motion. Startled, she grabs onto the edge of her seat as she looks around to see the lights on various rides cut on and illuminate throughout the park. The pattern design on the wheels inner core flashes as it resuscitates, casting shadows from below the car.

Rocking back and forth in the air, she peers out the gate of the passenger car as it lowers her to the platform—gulping when she sees that Nathan is not behind the controls. As it eases to its stop, she clenches tightly onto her teddy bear and secretly prays that it will pass the dock and take her back up to the peak of the ride. At least there she felt somewhat safe.

A faint clicking noise comes from the metal beam attached to the roof as the car stops moving. The already unlocked gate continues to rattle on its hinges as she looks through it at the empty swivel of handrails where the line would normally be. Hesitant, she stares through the gate for another moment before finally mustering the courage to push it open. She slowly climbs out of the passenger car as she lowers her feet to the platform below.

She eyes her surroundings once again. "Nate?"

Fair music is the only thing that responds to her. Its eerie melody, which sounds as if it is set on a continuous loop, resembles that of a circus track.

Shaking her head, Abbey immediately walks down the steps toward the main path that leads to the front gate. With the teddy bear still in her hands, she pulls it close up to her chest as she passes the Mirror Maze. As she walks forward, she tries her best to focus on Nathan's car on the other side of the fence and tries not to frighten herself even further by looking at any of the attractions. As she walks forward, she can hear a recorded scream echoing down the narrow halls of the Death Ride to her right and she shudders—instantly thinking of what sounded like Sammy crying for help earlier. The wooden entrance doors to the ride are still pulled open, a thick sheet of blackness lingering past the doorframe.

Lights flash from her left, the colorful display strobed to correlate with the instrumental music coming from a large speaker mounted on the arched ceiling of the carousel. Out of the corner of her eye, she can see something spinning in circles on her left—but it's not one of the porcelain horses. The shape is much longer and stretched out. She glances at the ride and covers her mouth in horror as she finds her legs locking up.

Vanessa's lifeless eyes stare back at her, her arms draped over the pole on top of the horse as her body lifts up and down with the ride. On the horse behind her, Connor is displayed in the same position. As his horse lifts higher, his head leans back to reveal a deep slash in his neck—blooding still slowly oozing down to the collar of his shirt.

Tears immediately begin to flood down her cheeks as Abbey screams, covering her mouth with one hand as she takes a step back—gasping when she feels her body press up against something. She quickly spins around to see Teardrop gazing down at her, the two standing in the doorway of the Death Ride. Her eyes focus down at the carving knife he holds tightly in his right hand, the colorful lights from the carousel reflecting off of its long blade as he lifts it in the air.

She backs up, screaming again as she finds herself tripping over her feet and tumbling to the ground. Crawling backwards, she rolls over and pushes herself back up, not looking at him as she focuses on the dirt path ahead and dashes for the front gate. Knowing he already has the advantage, he takes his time as he slowly pursues her.

Abbey runs past the ticket booth, still screaming and sobbing as she reaches the gate to find it chained shut with the padlock back in place. She tugs at the poles, the fence rattling as her teddy bear falls to the dirt. Glancing up, she quickly contemplates on whether or not she would be able to pull herself high enough to climb over the metal barrier. "Help me!"

Turning around, she gasps when she sees Teardrop standing in front of the admission stand no more than a few feet away. He stands up straight, tilting his mask as he stares directly at her. Tauntingly, he sways his knife in the air as he, too, plans his next move.

Nathan slams up his shoulder up against the bathroom door for what feels like the hundredth time, panting heavily as he stops for a brief moment to regain what little energy he has left. Hearing his girlfriend's scream muffled through the distance, his eyes widen and he quickly slams into it again—this time hard enough to send a small crack splitting down the doorframe.

"Abbey!" He screams, his face turning red as he immediately begins to blame himself for leaving her alone.

Taking a couple of steps back, he aims his shoulder at the door as he prepares to smash into it again when, suddenly, the door handle rattles as somebody twists it from the other side.

"Hello?!" Nathan hollers, clenching his fists as he approaches the door in a fighting stance. "Who's there?!"

The door is pulled open, a distraught Sammy standing in the doorway as she lifts her blood soaked hands in the air defensively. "It's just me!"

"Sammy?" He takes a deep breath, lowering his fists to his side. Noticing the red dripping from her hands, he approaches her as his anxiety pushes to an entirely new level. "Are you alright? What the hell is going on?!"

Shaking her head, she peers back at him as she doesn't know quite where to start.
