Feather's Point of View

I finally opened the door and was surprised. There wasn't anymore stairs, thank goodness, but instead, a steep drop. I quickly peeked over the edge, but didn't get a close enough look to come to any conclusions on what we should do next. I sighed and turned toward Ki.

"Look. I'm going to get a closer look over the edge. Do not push me.... Again." I say.

He lit a torch.

"Come on now Feather. Is that something I would do?" Ki said, pretending to be surprised. He put the torch on the wall.

My gaze hardened.

"Yes."

Okay okay! Jeez! Stop with the death glare!

A small smile of satisfaction formed on my lips.

I inched closer to the edge and crouched, looking down, several feet below.

Faint lighting illuminated the room and I saw branching pathways. I gulped. This person could be anywhere....

Whoops.

I felt hands on my back push me lightly. Startled, I loose balance and start falling. But, lucky for me, I pulled out Skeletron's hand in time. I quickly fired it at the ceiling. My body flung toward the ceiling.

"Why the heck did you do that!??" I looked over at Ki, who was trying to stifle a laugh.

"Entertainment." He replied simply. He eyed my body.

This jerk!

Hey now. There's no need to be this irra----

I aimed the other hand towards Ki's neck and fired. It wrapped around his neck and dragged him towards me.

I slammed his body hard against the floor.

Karma.

When the hand returned to me, I shot it on the floor next to his body. As soon as I stepped onto the ground, Ki's hand wrapped around my ankle and pulled me down.

There. Now we're even.

"I really dislike you most of the times." I say to Ki. I rolled onto my side to face him.

My eyes narrowed.

I swear. If I had a gold coin for every time I shot Ki a dirty look today, I would be rich! He simply smiled and smirked.

"You're awfully cute when you're angry."

I couldn't help but blush.

All of a sudden, I hear the clanking of bones and doors creaking open.

"W-what was that?" Ignoring the pain in my back, I leap to my feet.

The bone clanking got louder as the sound of rusty metal being scraped echoed from one of the directions.
I stood still and listened.  Loud snarls up roared from the hallway to the left and several skeletons began walking out, wearing various armors.

"Stand back!" Ki said, in an assertive tone, but I bounded towards the skeletons, gripping my cutlass tightly.

With a few quick slashes, the group of skeletons were nothing more than a pile of bones.

"Hhheeeeyy!!! I wanted to kill them!!" Ki whined.

"Come on. We have to find this person." I replied hastily.

We chose the path that led downwards..... Well.... I chose the path that led downwards.

As we hopped down into the dungeon, we heard more bones clanking. Several more skeletons emerged, wearing a sort of blue armor.

"All yours."

Ki instantly had a sword in his hand..... I don't know what kind of sword it is?

True Night's Edge.

"Oh. Okay. Thanks." I say as Ki struck down on the skeletons.

"No problem." Ki handled the monsters with ease, moving around with grace.

As soon as the skeletons were taken care of, Ki lit a torch.

"Let's keep moving."

We continued in silence, the light dimly lighting the way.

As we continued walking, fear gnawed at my stomach. The eerie shadows cast from the torch made my hair stand up.

I wasn't feeling well....

The water dripping, monsters growling, .....

Stay calm, Feather.

Ki put his hand on my shoulder.

"I think we should take a break.." He says, stopping. Ki set the torch down on an old brick table. I stretch my arms towards the ceiling.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see something gold glittering.

Hey... What's that?

I start walking towards it, curious on what it is. As I strayed from the light, shivers were sent down my spine. I couldn't see what the object was, Sadly, it was too dark. I could only see faint glittering and a padlock, chained to the object.

Light grew brighter as Ki handed the torch to me.

"Oh nice! You found a chest!" Ki said, excitedly.

"Aww... But it's locked... Maybe there's a key around here."

I looked at him.

"We can't steal from this dungeon!"

"It's not called 'stealing'.... It's called looting. Besides, this dungeon has been abandoned for years, I mean, The guardian was a giant skull!" Ki laughed at his own joke. The fire flickered off of his face, his bright eyes looking at me from behind his glasses.

He lit another torch.

"Help me look for a key." He said, starting to look around. I obliged.

A few seconds later, Ki spoke up.

"Aha! Found it!" He said. We both rushed over to the chest. He quickly unlocked it and the padlock fell off. It broke in half as soon as it hit the brick.

He waited, then stared at me expectantly.

"Well? What are you waiting for?"

Author's note:

Over 12 hours of production, ladies and gents.

And it still turned out like crap.

I guess I get a little.....

Frustrated about the Fi moments... I ship Fandon too much.

Well, that's all for now....

Bye bye Brudunskies

Oh wait!

I was going to mention this in the after math chapter, but I'm going to start trying something new.

Now that the 100th chapter is done with, I have a request.

Leave a sort of "Review" down in the comments. Eventually, I'll take all of these reviews and put them in the description of my story. So people can hear what other people's opinion on the story besides mine.

I think it'll work well for the book and will help it branch out.

That's all.

Thank you guys so much for reading!

Peace.
