(Ozpin and Glynda are watching the students through the scroll.)

Glynda: The last pair has been formed, sir. (taps the screen to show the ending scene of "The Emerald Forest") Nami and Lie Ren. Probably better off than Miss Nikos.

Ozpin: Mmmm...

(Jaune is seen landing as Pyrrha makes eye contact with him and they go through the woods.)

Glynda: I don't care what his transcripts say. That Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat. (deactivates the tablet, walking back a little) I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes. (turning back to Ozpin) Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year? (silence) Professor Ozpin?

(Y/N, Tiny, Dixie, Shantae, Nega-Shantae, Risky Boots and Nora are seen standing at the mouth of a dark cave, where drawings are seen to the side involving armed men against giant beasts.)

Y/N: Are we close?

Tiny: (using a GPS) If my GPS is correct, we're getting close.

(Suddenly a Death Stalker comes in.)

(The group gets in their fighting stances.)

Y/N: Really close, I suppose.

(The group starts fighting the Death Stalker as the rest of the huntsmen arrive at the scene and watch the fight. Y/N shoots the Death Stalker's claws while Tiny attacks its face with a baseball bat. Shantae and Risky stab the base between it and the tail while Nora fires some grenades, and Dixie pulls its stinger off before shoving it through the scorpion's head, killing it.)

(Meanwhile, Jaune, Nami, Pyrrha, Ren, Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang try their best to bring down a Nevermore.)

(However they're unsuccessful, and then Y/N aims at it, blasing its wings, causing it to fall down as Nega-Shantae uses her magic to reduce the Nevermore to ashes.)

Y/N: Ha! (poses) Mission Accomplished!

(Suddenly the faint sounds of an audience clapping are heard, growing louder and louder as a familiar voice is heard.)

(At the auditorium, the huntsmen are seen standing in front of the audience as Ozpin speaks up.)

Ozpin: Russel Thrush. Cardin Winchester. Dove Bronzewing. Sky Lark. (the screen of the auditorium shows each of their profiles as the four are lined up for the applauding audience to see as Ozpin continues) The four of you retrieved the black bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team CRDL, led by... Cardin Winchester!

(The audience gives one more wave of ovation, while four students walk up to the stage to take their places in front of the headmaster as their faces fill the screen.)

Ozpin: Jaune Arc. Lina Ren. Pyrrha Nikos. Nami. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team JNPR.

(Amid the clapping, Nami gives Ren a quick kiss on his cheek.)

Ozpin: Led by... Jaune Arc!

Jaune: Who? Me?

Ozpin: Congratulations, young man.

(Jaune smiles at his accomplishment as Pyrrha gives him a shoulder bump, and he falls down, causing the audience to laugh.)

Ozpin: Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. Yang Xiao Long. (motions over the four as they stand before him) The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY. Led by... Ruby Rose!

(Weiss looks to her right surprised, where Ruby is obviously in shock as Yang goes over to hug her sister.)

Yang: I'm so proud of you!

Ozpin: And finally, Y/N L/N... or should I say, Earthworm Jim, Tiny Kong, Dixie Kong, Shantae, Nega-Shantae, Risky Boots and Nora Valkyrie. Even though you didn't get to retrieve any pieces, the way you destroyed both the Death Stalker and the Nevermore, and therefore you earned a place at Beacon. From this day on, you will work together as Team Smash. Led by Earthworm Jim!

(Y/N smiles as the girls tackle him into a hug.)

Nora: THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION WITH PANCAKES!

Ozpin: (amid the last round of cheers) It looks like things are shaping up to be an... interesting year.

(The camera pans over the auditorium's structure until it escapes into the open sky and shows the scattering crescent moon amid the day's clouds as the screen fades out.)
