Karrel kept thinking over and over and took him 5 minutes to think. Until he turned back to me and said,

"We'll see. Let's get to know each other first then I'll think about it."

"Okay, sure. I'll just wait." I replied.

He smiled at me, stood up and walked out of the room. My heart beated so fast when he was thinking about the question I asked him. As he left, Nathan, Ethan and Annie came in. Nathan and Ethan sat on the carpet and Annie sat beside me. Until she smirked at me.

"What's wrong with you Annie? Why are you smirking and smilling at me that way?" I asked.

"I heard the whole conversation you had with my brother. So, do you actually liked my brother?" Annie asked me.

"Not really. I was just asking him out of curiosity."

"Seriously! Not out of your heart?" Annie asked.

"No. I don't like him okay." 

"Too bad. I thought you actually like him."

As that topic was over, Nathan asked me.

"So, why are you both here actually? I mean, this is the boys room not the girls."

"Oh! I was actually here because I need to talk to Annie why her brother Karrel doesn't like any noises while having dinner. But since Karrel told me himself, I don't need to know." I replied.

"I'm still curious. Why does he not like noises during dinner time? I mean, doesn't that make it more awkward?" Nathan asked Annie.

"Well, my little brother Steve ever asked him a lot of questions until he got annoyed by it so he scolded all of us saying that if we ever talk during dinner time, he's gonna hit us with a ruler.10 times. He hits really hard. Until you bleed. Believe me. I've experienced it before. So I always warned my siblings to never talk during dinner. I didn't want them to experience it."

"Owh. I see. Yeah. I would rather not talk rather than getting hit by him." Ethan said.

"I'm so speechless. I mean, how could he do that to his own siblings?!" Nathan said.

"Well, we're used to it anyways. Its fine." Annie replied.

"But he seems nice to me." I said to them.

"My brother is actually a soft hearted person. But he have never felt loved for a long time. I guess when you asked him that question, he finally felt loved." Annie said.

"So you're saying that you guys never say i love you to him for a long time??!!" 

"Yeah... I mostly say 'I love you' to my little siblings. Not Karrel. I just felt..... scared and frightened..." Annie said.

"Owh... I'll go to my room first. Bye~"

"Bye~" said Nathan, Ethan and Annie.

As I left, I closed the door and find for Karrel's room. I know I said I'm going to my room but I didn't because I wanna ask Karrel. So I found his room and knocked on the door.

"Hey Karrel. Its me, Venis. May I come in?"

It was queit so I decided to go in. As I nearly went in, Karrel screamed at me.

"Don't come in!!!"

He was moaning in pain and I decided to go in without hesitation. As i barge in, I saw Karrel. I wanted to scream, but I can't. What I saw was Karrel turning into a monster. I panicked and ran to the door. But Karrel ran really fast and blocked the door. I was frightened. He locked the door and went towards me slowly. His face a monster. His whole body was like a monster. I was shivering and stepped back slowly. My back suddenly reached to the wall. I was trapped. I had no where to escape. I wanted to shout for help, but then Karrel put both hands on the wall and leaned towards my face. As he leaned towards, his mouth was near my ear and he whispered.

"I love you Venis. No matter what happens, I'll always protect you." 

As he whisper, he looked back at me. He leaned towards my face and looked at my lips. As he goes closer, I had no choice but to close my eyes. As i close it tightly, he kissed me on the lips while holding my face. Until I hold his chest and pushed him softly. I stopped the long kiss and wanted to walk away. But then, he blocked my way and said.

"Don't tell anyone. Not even my siblings. Don't tell them that I'm a monster. Please promise me." He said.

"I won't." I replied as i promise him.

I watched him change to his normal self and he asked me.

"What's the reason you're here again?" 

"Nothing. I was just checking on you." I replied.

"Oh, okay."

I rushed out and shut the door. I ran to my room and covered my face with a pillow. I think and think. *What just happen? Did Karrel just kissed me on the lips? He did! He just did!! He said he loved me!!! I can't believe this!! He loves me!!!* As I recall back what happen, I started to blush. As I kept recalling that moment, someone knocked on the door.

"Whose there?" I asked.

There was no answer. So i asked again. And yet, there was no answer. So i got out of my bed and opened the door. It was Karrel. He asked,

"May I come in?"

"Yeah sure. Come in." I replied. 

I let him in and he asked,

"I know its gonna be awkward but..... ummmm..." 

"But what?"

"Is it okay? If i sleep with you tonight. Only tonight. I mean, you can refuse if you're not comfortable." He said.

"Sure. I bet you have nightmares almost every time."

"Haha. Not really. I just wanna get to know you."

"By sleeping with me for 1 night?"

"Yeah... Weird huh." 

"Totally. But, I don't mind."

As we kept talking, it was already 10 pm. 

"Time to sleep." Karrel said.

I went on the bed and slept on my left side where the window was facing and Karrel slept on the right side where the door was facing. As we laid down, Karrel cuddled with me. He was so warm and comfortable.

"You don't mind, don't you?" He asked.

"Nope. You're really comfortable to cuddle with." I replied.

He giggled a little and waited for me to fall asleep. While I fell asleep, it was his turn to fall asleep. As we slept, I heard a knock on the window. I opened my eyes slowly and looked at the window. There it was. The black shadow. It appeared again. I moved Karrel's hand to the side and went towards the window. I hold onto the curtains and decide to rather open and see it for myself or tell Karrel.

What would Venis decide? Will she open the curtains herself and see it or will she tell Karrel? What is that black shadow? Why does it keep appearing? Find out and stay tune for more.
