As I hold the curtains, I decided to open it and see it for myself. I counted till 3. *Okay Venis. You can do it! Just open it and you'll be fine. On 3. 1..... 2...... 3!!* I thought to myself. I opened the curtains and the black shadow was gone. I closed the curtains back again and the black shadow was there. So I tried opening it again. And again, it was gone. So I closed the curtains again and this time, it was actually gone now.

"Venis, you okay there? Why are you playing with the curtains?" Karrel asked.

"What.... Oh! Uh.... I was just bored. Yah! I was just bored and since there was nothing to play with, I just play with the curtains." I replied back.

"Then why didn't you just wake me up? I could just talk to you since you're bored."

"I didn't wanna disturb you sleeping."

"Come here." Karrel said.

I started blushing and went next to him on the bed. I laid down next to him and he looked at me while smiling.

"Go to sleep Venis. You'll be fine. Because I will never let anything happen to you." Karrel said to me.

I blushed a little and closed my eyes. After a few minutes, I fell asleep.

The Next Morning~

I woke up and looked at Karrel. He looks so handsome when he sleeps and when he's awake. I leaned near his cheek and kiss him on the cheek. As I move my head away after the kiss, I got out of bed, took a shower and went downstairs.

"Good morning Steve, Annie, Elaine, Nathan and Ethan." I said to them.

"Morning. Would you like some breakfast?" Annie said with a bright smile.

"Yes please. I'm starving." I replied to her.

As Annie gave me some breakfast, sat down and we started to get to know each other and had the greatest conversation.

"Hey Annie, can I talk to you in private later?" I asked Annie.

"Sure."

As we finished our food, Ethan, Nathan, Steve and Annie went to the kitchen and put their plates in the sink, while Annie washes the plate, Ethan and Nathan were playing with Steve. It was left me and Elaine in the dinning room.

"Venis, can I ask you something?" Elaine said.

"Yeah sure. Go ahead."

"Ummm..... Is Nathan single?"

"He is actually. Why? Do you like him?" I asked her.

"I do. He seems so nice, sweet and handsome."

"He is a sweet gentleman. Would you want me to tell him or do you wanna say it to him yourself?"

"I don't wanna say it to him. I'm afraid that we might feel awkward. Could you do it for me?"

"Sure. I'll tell him later."

"Thanks Venis. You're a great person."

"No problem." I said while smiling at her.

As she stood up, pushed the chair in, went to the kitchen and gave Annie her plate. As I rested for a few minutes, Karrel went down, took his breakfast and sat down. Annie said usually he sits in the middle but now, he sits next to me.

"I thought you usually sit in the middle. Why are you sitting beside me?" I asked Karrel.

"Is it wrong to sit beside the girl I love?" he said to me while making eye contact with me.

"No! Of course not! Sure, just sit wherever you want." I mumbled.

He giggled a little and continue eating his food. As I was done resting, I stood up and washed my plate. I went to the living room and saw Annie. As I walked towards her, I saw the black shadow again. It was standing next to an opened door. I went towards the door and checked inside. It was just a closet. I was trying to find the black shadow, but it disappear again. And I thought, *Maybe the black shadow was trying to show me something. I didn't see Blade and his friends for 2 days after the incident. Maybe the black shadow was trying to show me where they are.*

As I was thinking, Annie tapped on my shoulders. I turned and looked at her.

"You okay Venis? Why are you staring at the closet?" Annie asked me.

"Oh! Nothing. I was just thinking of something. I'm fine."

"Oh, okay. You wanted to talk to me about something?" Annie asked.

"Ya. Ummm.... Does your siblings know that their dead?"

"Well, they actually do know."

"How did they passed away? How did you passed away?"

"Steve and Elaine got food poisoning, I got a scar on my neck and Karrel, well.... he.... ummm.... he passed away while he was in military."

"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that."

"Its fine. As long as we all have each other, we'll be fine."

"Okay. Thanks for the conversation though."

"No problem. You can talk to me anytime." Annie said with a smile on her face.

As Annie continue cleaning, I walked upstairs, went to my room and took a nap. As I was taking a nap, I heard a knock at my closet. I opened my eyes and looked at my closet. I sat and kept looking at the closet. I thought it was nothing so I laid back and closed my eyes. A few minutes later, the knock appeared again. I opened my eyes in shock and sat up again.

The knock appeared over and over. I got so frightened that I covered my face with a pillow. I decided to walk up to my closet. As I walk towards the closet slowly, the knock was still going. As I reached the closet, I hold on the handle to open the closet. The knock has stopped. I opened the closet and saw the black shadow again. It was standing between my clothes.

As it goes deep into the clothes, I followed it. I entered into a weird room. It was scary, dark and I can't see a thing. I walked around and suddenly, I felt like I touched a person. I was about to scream but then that person has covered my mouth. The person whispered on my ears and said,

"Shhh.... Its okay. Its me, Blade. Don't worry. You're safe with me." he said.

I calmed myself down and keep quiet. Suddenly the light turned on. I looked at Blade and he looked at me. We made eye contact for a few seconds and there was silence. Until I broke it.

"Where were you? Why weren't you with the 3 of us? Do you know that we were finding for you?"

"Why sweetie? Got worried about me?" Blade said while he smirk.

"I wasn't worried okay. I was scared. I didn't even know this place."

"Now you do! You even know their names! And you even slept with the eldest child!" he said angrily.

"How do you know that?"

I kept thinking and thinking. *Was Blade the black shadow? Only the black shadow saw me and Karrel sleeping together. Was Blade actually the black shadow? Was he spying on me? Or was the black shadow someone else?*
