Tyler was over at Caylin's house. He opened the door and went inside. Caylin greeted him and motioned for him to sit on the couch.

"Hey, Tyler," Caylin began. "We have some birthdays to celebrate. Kage, Kaylee, Ethan... they all have birthdays this month."

"I know," Tyler said. "It would be kind of complicated to have a separate party for each of them. How about we have a big party for all of them?"

"Great idea!" Caylin said. "Let's get started!"

*At Caylin's house 2 hours later...*

Tyler, Caylin, Matt and Evan were setting up the house for the party. Tyler was setting the table, Caylin was making the cake, Matt was setting up banners and Evan was making the food. It took about 3 hours to set up.

*Around 6:00pm...*

Kage, Kaylee and Ethan walked up to Caylin's door. They all had invites for a party.

"Why do you suppose they're having a party?" Ethan asked.

"I'm not sure," Kaylee said. "Let's go inside."

They opened the door. It was completely dark inside.

"Hello?" Ethan called.

Suddenly, the lights came on and everybody in the room shouted, "Surprise!" Kage fell backwards, Ethan fell into the wall and Kaylee just stood there in shock and surprise.

"Happy birthday, guys!" Tyler said.

They sat down and had a wonderful party.
