Tyler was browsing his email, which he did weekly. As usual, it was mostly ads and complaints about Kage (Kage didn't have a computer; he was too poor.) Suddenly, an email popped up. It was from Peach! It was rare that Peach would send any type of mail to anyone other than Mario or Daisy. He opened the email.

*Secret Santa

Hey, everyone! What's happening? You're invited to take part in the Secret Santa draw! Meet us at the castle at 2:30 for details! See you there!

Peach*

Tyler got on his awful Christmas sweater and got in his car with Kage in tow. They took off for the castle.

*At the castle...*

Everyone was gathered around Peach, everyone being Tyler, Kage, Caylin, Matt, Ethan, Evan, Mario, Luigi and Daisy. Peach was holding a Santa hat.

"OK, you all know how this works, right?" Peach asked. "Pick a name and you buy a present for just that person."

Tyler was the first to draw. He drew, and he got... Caylin! He smiled.

Caylin picked next. She drew Tyler's name. She also smiled.

Kage was next. Nobody wanted to be picked by Kage. Everyone knew Kage would buy his recipient a package of socks, and nobody wanted that. Kage reached into the hat and drew... Ethan!

Matt followed suit. He got Evan.

Everyone else followed. Ethan got Mario, Evan got Luigi, Mario got Peach, Luigi got Daisy and Daisy got Matt. That meant Peach would buy for Kage. They all left the castle to begin shopping.
