I was shocked after Aunt Annie thought Austin the jerk as my boyfriend. And when I was going to confront her then.

"Aren't we? I always tell her that but she just denies the fact", he said pouting.

" Sorry, Aunt but he is just lying. We are just...uh...we are classmates.", I stuttered.

"It's okay babe. You don't need to lie to her", Austin said smirking which was just annoying me to the edges.

"Yes, honey. Why would you lie to me? I am happy for you both", she said caressing my cheeks.

"No, he is just kidding", I said defending myself.

"It's okay, no problem. I understand", she said smiling at Austin.

How could she out of all people like this jerk? She was my Aunt Annie. I hate this cheapy, jerky, flirty, human sitting right in front of me.

"You and Aunt Gretta are living at the same place?", she asked me.

"Yeah, Brookville town, end of the street", I told.

"Okay, enjoy you both", she said and hugged me.

"Why did you do that? You are such a jerk?", I said angrily when she went.

"Chill babe. It's not my fault that she bought my joke.", he smirked.

Jeez!! I hate his smirks.

"Don't call me babe. I am not your babe", I said offended.

"Okay, Heidi", he winked.

And I ignored him. It was a waste correcting him all the time. He is just getting on my nerves. I looked at him and he was sipping his hot chocolate. He looked cute and innocent. Why can't he be like that despite being such a cocky jerk?

"What?", he caught me looking, and the way he said my cheeks felt warm.

"Nothing", I rolled my eyes and he smirked.

"I am getting bored.", he said flatly.

"So, how can I entertain you, sir?", I said sarcastically.

"Maybe, a dance could help. Lap dance to be more specific", he said smirking.

And I mock slapped his hands which were on the table.

"Ouch! Okay let's play a game.", he said.

"What game?", I asked frowning.

"Twenty-one truths", he stated while eating his cheesecake.

"Are you saying 20 questions?", I asked.

"No, I am saying Twenty-one truths. It's just 21 questions which you should answer honestly or truthfully", he said.

"It's twenty questions only", I told him.

"No, I don't like even numbers ending with zero.", he said it like it's very obvious.

"Who doesn't like thaaat?", I said amused.

"I, Austin doesn't like that", he said rolling his eyes.

"Okay, whatever. Let's start then.", I said thinking what questions can I ask him.

Why is he such a jerk? Or why is his hair so nice? Why are his lips pink like that? Or Why is he talking to me? Or Why is he so cute and hot and sexy? Shut up! Heidi. Wait, how can I call myself Heidi in my own mind? I am Hayden. Not Heidi.

"When is your birthday?", he asked me. I wasn't expecting him to ask questions like that. I mean he would ask. Are you a virgin or something like that. But it's good he didn't ask.

"June 1st", I said. And his eyes flickered with an emotion of hurt.

"What happened? You don't like June 1st too?", I asked him.

"No, it's nothing. You ask", he said hiding that sad emotion and back to smirking.

"What is your full name 'Just Austin'?", I asked him remembering he never told his full name.

"It's just Austin", he lied.

" You said truthfully, honestly.", I said eyeing him.

"Okay, it's Austin de Peyster Flynn", he said awkwardly.

"That sounds like a political name. You belong to a political family?", I giggled and he just stared at me with a blank expression. Maybe he felt bad because I joked about his name. I am so stupid.

"I am sorry. I shouldn't have joked about your name like that. But seriously, I was just kidding. Sorry", I said apologetically. But he didn't answer back.

"What?", I asked him frowning. And again he didn't reply to me and continue staring which made me blush.

I am not a girl who blushes because of a boy usually. Why am I even blushing? Hope he didn't notice.

"Are you even listening to me?", I asked in a little loud voice.

"Yeah, yeah....I...uh...I just...Nothing", he stuttered puzzled.

"Okay, I was saying. I am sorry about joking about your name.", I said.

"It's fine. That's why I don't tell anyone my full name. I don't like being called by that name", he said with a glimmer of pain in his eyes but he hid it really fast which only confused me. He is good at it.

"Your name is good. And why so? Why don't you like being called by that name?", I asked him.

"That are two questions", he said smirking.

"Okay, fine. Ask", I said rolling my eyes.

"What?", he asked.

"Question you fool", I said.

"Oh, Heidi. I forget to tell you the rules of the game.", he said with a sheepish smile.

"What rules", I asked puzzled.

"We are going to play this game for 21 days. We will ask one question to each other till the 21st day.", he said.

"Why? Let's finish it today.", I said.

"Oh! Heidi, you are so curious to know about me!", he said smirking.

"No, you idiot. I don't want to talk to you for freaking 21 days.", I said and he looked around the table and rubbed his neck with a thoughtful expression.

"Let's make a deal. I'll help you out with Spanish for your test and in return, we will continue the game", he said.

"Why would you make a deal like that? Why are interested in playing this stupid game with me?", I asked raising my left brow.

"Firstly, this game is not stupid. And secondly, this deal benefits you as you terribly suck at Spanish.", he said.

He had a point. I was really bad at Spanish and the guys who could have helped me out aren't really good at it. But I would never like to take the help of Austin- the also good in Spanish guy.

"Okay fine, how will I know you are good enough in Spanish to help me with my test?", I asked him despite knowing, he was actually good at it.

"No importa que nos separe la distancia, siempre habrá un mismo cielo que nos una", he said and I didn't understand.

"What? Translate it", I said.

"No, I can't", he said.

"Then you are saying anything randomly which does not mean anything", I said narrowing my eyes on him.

"Prefiero un minuto contigo a una eternidad sin ti.", he said.

"Okay fine. Deal accepted.", I said rolling my eyes.

"Good girl", he said smirking.

I finished my meal. And then I saw the time which was 5:30...God!! I spent 1 whole hour with this annoying jerk.

"I am leaving now. You find someone else to sit with.", I told him gathering my books and standing up.

"Rest of the people here aren't my type.", he pouted.

Was I his type? Shut up! He's just goofing around.

"I am leaving too.", he stated.

"Okay, bye"

"Bye.", he said staring at me and he slightly smiled.

Oh! So he struggles in smiling...this guy is some next level stupid.

I started walking towards my bike. It was evening time. And the sky looked beautiful. And then I heard,

"Hey, Heidi!"

"I am not Heidi and yes?", I turned back to see Austin. His eyes were shining. He ran his hand in his hair which kinda looked cool on him.

"Umm...wanna ride me? Uh...I mean, Want me to give you a ride?", he said awkwardly.

"What?", I said a little shocked.

"Ride. Till home. So that you can reach home.", he said motioning his hands like riding a bike.

"No, thanks. I have a bike. Not a motor one.", I also said motioning like he did and he chuckled. Then he started walking in the opposite direction.

"Hey, Flynn", I called him and he turned back.

"Not Flynn, just Austin and yes?", he mimicked me and that made me chuckle.

"Thanks.", I said.

"Why?", he asked frowning.

"For helping me in the Spanish class today.", I said with a warm smile.

"Oh, that. Anytime.", he said and actually smiled.

And I started walking again.

"Hey, Heidi!", I heard again and it made me blush and I smiled.

What is wrong with me??

"Not Heidi, and yes?", I said.

" Thanks", he said.

"For what?" I asked confused.

"Nothing. Bye", he said and just walked away.

Stupid!!

And then I walked and finally I reached my bike and left for home.

Tomorrow was Sunday, which means no Austin. No Austin meant, no strange feelings. And that was good.

I reached home at 6. I opened the door with the extra key. I found G mother doing some work.

"Oh, my dear hard-working young lady", I said hugging her from the back.

"Oh, Hayden! You look really happy today. What happened?", she asked me hugging back.

How could I look happy? I was totally annoyed because of that stupid jerk. But I kind of was happy. Whenever I stepped into this home. It just made me feel sad. Remembering all those years spent with Mom and Dad but now it just sucks. But today, I didn't felt that. Even yesterday, I was thinking about that stupid Austin. Okay stop, I am just overthinking.

"No, I just met Aunt Annie today. So I felt really good.", I told her which was true.

"She was your father's close friend right?", G mother asked.

"Yes.",I told her.

"She is a very kind woman", G mother said.

My GM was actually the mother of my mother, so she didn't recognize people from my father's side easily.

"Yes, she is.", I said.

Then I went upstairs to my room and opened my phone and find out that there were 10 messages in our group chat.

Shelley Belley-

Hey, Hayd...we are missing you here.

Christy-

Yes, Hayd. Where are you?

Shelley Belley-

Why are you not replying to us? Christy is totally not keeping it PG here and Ryan and I are getting really annoyed.

Christy-

Shut up, Shell! I can see what's happening between you and Ryan.

Jeez!! These people.

Hayden-

Guys, I was out.

Christy-

Okay.

And we talked for a few minutes. Then I did some homework and then GM and I had dinner and I drift off to sleep.

I was actually happy today!
