As soon as the screaming stops, the door handle unlocks and they run inside. Notch is out cold on the floor, his bald head drenched in sweat. The former demons are also lying on the floor, the girls with white wings. Wolfie is in wolf form, but his fur is now white instead of pitch black.

"Khali?" Jerome asks, running over to her and checking her pulse. Quintana, Ty, and Mitch all do the same while Ian, Jason, and Adam run to Notch's side.

"He's barely alive," Jason explains urgently. The three boys look over to Quintana, who has her eyes squeezed shut and palms raised towards their father.

"Everyone get behind me," she says.

"You can't try that magic again. If you couldn't save Libby, you can't save Notch," Ian insists. The angel girl shakes her head and pushes him out of the way.

"Shut up. I need to try," she growls.

She takes a deep breath and focuses, causing a stream of bright white light to shoot from her palms and hit Notch. Nothing happens at first, but suddenly Notch takes a huge breath and starts to cough. Quintana goes weak in the knees and Ian catches her.

"Thanks, big brother," she mumbles. They make sure she's okay before looking back to Notch.

"You're alive!" Adam exclaims, helping him sit up before hugging him.

"Yes, I am," the king wheezes in response.

"That's awesome! Also, uh, what about them?" Jerome asks, pointing to the former demons.

"They're not fatally injured, just knocked out from the transformation. Bring them to their rooms and I'll stop by and give them some regeneration potions," Quintana explains, still being held up by Ian. She tries to walk, but stumbles and is caught again.

"You aren't going anywhere. You've been supporting all of us for too long, and we aren't helpless. Go get some rest, and I'LL make the potions," Jason says, looking over at his sister. "Ian, would you be so kind as to bring Quintana to her room?"

Ian nods and carries his sister out of the throne room. Adam helps Notch up and acts as his crutch as they walk back to the other angels.

"I'm sorry for being absent for the past few weeks. I've been having trouble coping with everything, but I think I'll be okay now. I'm going to resume being the leader I'm supposed to be," he announces. His brothers smile and Mitch pulls him into a hug.

"I'm glad you're back."

Adam hugs back with his free arm and smiles at him.

"Alright guys, get the new angels into their rooms. I'll get Notch to his room."

They grin and go to where the unconscious angels lie. Ian grabs a wheeling bed from the hospital ward and puts Wolfie on it, being unable to carry him himself. Ty picks up Justina, Mitch picks up Ann, and Jerome picks up Khali. Together, they take everyone to their rooms.
