Hayden feels her cell vibrate for possibly the millionth time.  It was Mason.  Again.  She sighs and puts her cell up, continuing to pace the floor.  She had to meet Mason, but she couldn't leave.  She had to watch Deucalion.

"Five texts in two minutes? Someone's trying to get your attention.  Maybe you should go. I'm obviously not going anywhere."  He says, smirking, laughing softly at his little joke.

"Could you please shut the hell up?"  She growls out.

"I have a feeling you and I are going to be friends, Hayden.  I think we're going to discover a lot of common ground beneath our feet."  He says.

Hayden's cell vibrates again as she paces, she grips her jacket pocket, feeling the cell's vibration through the cloth.  She had to think.  How can she leave without worrying about Deucalion?  She turns to the table and sees the syringe.  She walks over and picks it up.

"Now is that really necessary?" He frowns at her.

"It's Kanima Venom from Tracy.  Enough to paralyze you for a couple hours." She walks over to him and grips the IV, holding the needle at it's entrance.

"If we're going to be friends, Hayden, you really need to learn to trust me."  He pouts.

She gives him an emotionless look and stabs the needle into the IV, letting the venom mix with the wolfsbane.  Watching him slowly sink into paralysis till he was stiff.

"Now I trust you."

Scott slowly removes his claws from Meredith's neck, watching her eyes roll back as her head falls limp against the chair.  Her mouth hangs open a little, no movement from her lips, but Scott could hear her voice as clear as day.

"Save her."

He nods gently and hears the door open.  He turns and sees a huge orderly glaring down at him.  Scott's eyes widen in surprise and he gets ready to fight but suddenly, the orderly falls forward on to the floor, face first.  From behind him, Liam stood, panting in triumph.

"Oh!"  He pants out.  "Is he out?"

Scott looks closer at the orderly then back to Liam, "Yeah."

Liam lets out a sigh of relief, "Okay." Giving Scott a thumbs up.

Then, he falls on to the floor in exhaustion.

Down in the tunnels, Stiles, Josie, and Myst follow Theo as he leads the way towards Lydia, but he seems to have stopped and leans against a set of pipes.

"I thought you had her scent."  Stiles growls out.

"I lost it."

"So find it again." Josie scoffs.

"What do you smell down here?"  Theo turns towards them, rolling his eyes in frustration.

"Chemicals and fecal matter.  Although, I'm pretty sure the fecal matter is you." Stiles says sarcastically.

"I defiantly smell bullshit."  Josie snarls out.

"I smell what you smell, the chemicals and other substance in the air down here."  Theo grits out.  He was getting really fed up with Josie's remarks.  "It's all that I can smell.  Which is why I'm trying something else.  So can you shut up and let me concentrate?"

Stiles scoffs and walks off, "I'm gonna find her.  With Josie and Myst."

"You know you won't, Stiles.  You're going to have to trust me."  Theo says.

Stiles stops in his tracks and paces over to Theo, getting in his face, "Trust you? The guy who murdered his own sister when he was nine?"

"Yeah, I was nine years old.  I also believed a guy in a red suit came down the chimney to deliver presents.  So when three people in leather masks showed up and said that my sister wanted me to have her heart, I believed them, too.

"So then together you gutted and killed her.  That's a beautiful story."  Josie scoffs.

"I watched her fall into the water and freeze to death in minutes.  Do you think I had any idea what was going on?"

"I think you pushed her." Stiles accuses.

"So do I.  And I think you liked it."  Josie says.

Before Theo could protest again, Lydia's banshee screams erupt throughout the tunnels, echoing against the pipes and walls.

"What direction was that? Where is it coming from?"  Stiles asks.

Josie focuses, "Everywhere."  She turns to Myst, "What can we do?"

Myst sighs, "We're not gonna be able to find her down here.  Not alone.  Stiles, stay down here and do not let Theo out of your sight.  We're gonna go back up and get to Scott.  I have a plan."  She says to Stiles then glares at Theo who just gives her a challenging look.  She faces Stiles and rubs her palms slowly then lifts one and blows gently.  Dust particles dance in the air around Stiles' face.  Like glitter dancing in the light.  He splutters in surprise, waving his hands around his face.

"What the hell was that?"  He frowns.

Myst shrugs, "Just a little bit of protection." She takes Josie's hand and pulls her towards where they came from, "Watch him."  She gestures Stiles at Theo.

Lydia gasps out loud as she snaps her eyes open.  Seeing the bright light hovering over her head. She slowly lifts her head and looks around, analyzing her setting.  She finds herself in a small office.  She groans in pain as she feels the wound on her head continue to drip blood down to her neck.  She gasps in pain as she feels a gauze being pressed into the wound.  Stopping the blood flow.

"Just hold on a little longer, Lydia.  You can make it."  Dr. Valack says.

She turns to look at him, her vision was still a little wobbly.  She winces in pain as a jolt of screams go through her head.  Valack carefully watches her, turning to a machine and turning up the dial gently.

"I want you to focus on this, Lydia.  And what other sounds you hear now, push them aside. Focus on this sound."  He says.

Lydia lays limply over the chair, feeling the pain basically stab her over and over in her brain.  Then, suddenly, she begins to hear rhythmical crackling.  She tries to do what he says and starts to feel herself calm. She moves to lie back against the chair she was in as she feels everything dimming down.

"That's it.  Focus on this sound and my voice.  All right, Lydia?"

Lydia looks around the room, then gasps in fear as she sees Nurse Cross, lying against the wall.  Eyes open, starring out into space.  From the look of her pale lifeless skin, Lydia could see she was dead.

"Don't worry, Lydia.  Nurse Cross wasn't nearly as strong as you are."  Valack smirks.

Lydia lies whimpering softly, hoping for anyone to help her.

Scott and Liam were heading back to the stairway, following Parrish's scent, but Liam jumps as the shower room opens.  He shouts and gets into a fighting stand, but Scott and Liam were both surprised when they see it was Myst and Josie.

Scott sighs in relief and pulls her into his arms, holding her tightly.  She hugs him and holds on to him till he pulls away and cups her face in his hands.

"You ok?"  He asks.

"I'm fine.  Valack took Lydia down into the tunnels.  We lost them."  Josie says.

"We need to hurry.  Stiles is all alone down there with Theo.  Josie is still having a hard time trying to focus with scents, we had no choice.  Don't worry.  Stiles is gonna be ok." Myst stops him before he freaks out.  "I put a protection spell on Stiles.  Where's Parrish?  We need him to find Lydia."  She says.

Liam frowns and picks up on of Josie's hair strands, "You're getting worse."  He says.

Scott frowns as he sees Josie's hair.  Another strand was turning red.

Josie pushes Liam's hand down, "Lydia first, then we can worry about my hair."  She stops and sniffs.  "What's burning?"  She asks.

Scott sniffs and turns, and they all followed the smell and Scott opens a door to the stairs.  They find Parrish lying at the bottom of a stairway, lying against the metal stairs, out cold.

"Parrish? Parrish.  Parrish.  Parrish, hey."  Scott shakes him awake.

Everyone hovers over him as he slowly open his eyes.  He frowns in confusion.

"Can you hear me?" Scott asks.

Parrish slowly sits up, "How did I get here?"

"We don't know.  We just followed the burning smell." Liam says meekly.

Parrish frowns and looks down at this hands, seeing the open blisters on his hands.  His skin was half burned and half peeled.  He could feel his body slowly healing.

Myst kneels down, gaining his attention, "Parrish, listen.  We don't have a lot of time.  Lydia needs your help."

"Eichen's in lockdown.  There's no way for us to get out unless Plan B works." Scott says.

Parrish's brows shoot up, "Plan B? What's Plan B?"  He asks.

"Don't worry about it."  Scott shakes his head.  "Right now, we need you to find Lydia."

"Me?"  Parrish asks, incredulous.

"Actually, not completely you.  We kind of need the other you."  Liam explains.

Josie sighs, "The Hellhound."

"How can I find her?"  He asks, still confused.

Josie reaches out and touches his shoulder, Parrish frowns, then sighs in content.  This was the first time he was feeling Josie's power.  He felt at ease.  Everything was still.

"You have to call the Hellhound.  You two are connected.  The connection can lead us to Lydia, we can save her but, we need the other you.  Please."  Josie says softly.

Parrish looks up at her, he sighs and closes his eyes.  Josie could feel heat rising from Parrish's skin, but it didn't hurt.  Scott and Liam backs away as Parrish's skin covers with fire.  Scott was about to pull Josie away, but she holds a hand up to stop him.  Parrish's eyes snap open, his eyes glowing eerily bright orange.  He slowly looks down at the hand that touched his shoulder and looks up at Josie.  He growls softly, but not threatening.  She could feel the fire dancing on her skin, but it didn't affect her.  She can feel her fire power merging with Parrish's powers.

"Josie...?"  Liam trails off, but Josie shushes him, keeping her eyes on Parrish.

"We need your help."  She says softly.  "Do you understand?"

Parrish nods slowly.

"Lydia needs our help.  Valack has her, her powers are active.  She's gonna die down there in the tunnels.  Can you find her?"  Josie asks.

Parrish reaches and takes her hand off his shoulder gently.  Giving it a little pat and turns to walk slowly down the stairway, exiting a door.

Everyone watches him leave and Liam shrugs, "I guess that means 'yes'."
