„Han, you're quite obvious." Soonbok spoke but Hana couldn't mind her friend one second. Her eyes were on Mark Lee, that was laughing with some other boys in the back of the classroom. She played with her inhaler in her hand. „He is so handsome though." Hana whined and looked like a mushy puddle of goo. Soonbok chuckled. „Confess." She then said. „Maybe you're lucky enough and he feels brave and wants to go out with you. What should go wrong?"

Hana's head shot up and she looked at her best friend with bewildered eyes. „Are you stupid, Soonbok? What if he dumps me and I embarrass myself in front of him?" She asked and Soonbok laughed and looked over to Mark who was playfully hitting Yoogeun's shoulder. „He bonded with the boys on the school trip." She said and Hana nodded, remembering how she and Mark bonded while they got lost.

He even held her hand. Just the thought of it made her knees go all weak.

Hana quickly shook her head and looked at Soonbok. „I can't confess to him." She then commented which only made Soonbok roll her eyes. „There are tons of ways to confess. Letters, Songs, something cute, via Text!" Soonbok announced and Hana cocked an eyebrow looking over to Mark. „He doesn't really seem like a person who enjoys a romantic letter or text."

„Then a song. Mark raps." Soonbok told Hana who had missed the first real gig of their classmate Mina where she had collaborated with Mark. „Mina could help you write a song?" Soonbok asked and Hana only shook her head. „I'm more of an athlete than a singer." She confessed when the school bell rang telling the girls that class was starting again.

After school Hana and Soonbok decided to drive to Myeongdong to look around the Cosmetic shops as Soonbok wanted to try a new lip tint from Laneige and Hana decided to tag along as she knew Hoseok had a date with Dr. Song this afternoon. The girls had a lovely afternoon walking from store to store and stopping by the food stalls to grab some Tteokbokki and Fish-shaped cookies with chocolate filling.

The next days went on quietly with Hana trying to find courage to confess to Mark and with Dr. Song telling her parents that the city-air is affecting Hana's illness more than usual. This led to the Coghlan family visiting Seoul all of a sudden and on a rainy Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Coghlan stood in front of Hana and Hoseok's flat with their little sister Hyojin, waving them excitedly.

„Mum? Dad? Hyojin?" Hana asked surprised once her parents and her sister were sitting in the living room with a cold glass of juice in their hands. Hyojin was already playing on her Nintendo not listening to what the adults were talking since she didn't feel at home in Korea.

„Your doctor told us about your vitals. It's worsening, Han." Audrey Coghlan said and looked at her husband Hyunwoo. „We were worried, Hana. The air and the fine dust in Seoul is dangerous for you." He spoke and Hana looked in her lap, not having her usual smile on her lips.

„And this is the reason you came? Just telling me things I already know?" She asked, a lump in her throat. „Dr. Song is worried. And so are we Hana." Hyunwoo said and sighed. „Why don't you come back to Ireland with us?" Her father then asked and Hana widened her eyes, the lump getting more prominent.

„Dad! I can't!" She wheezed in pain, tears starting to stream down her cheeks. „I can't just go back after finally coming back. I have missed my friends and my teacher and Korea is more my home than Ireland is!" Hana cried before clenching her inhaler in her hand. „I can never play soccer on a pro level and neither do I have the courage to confess to Mark Lee!" Hana screamed out and her mother opened her mouth before looking at her husband, surprised by her daughters words.

„You have a crush on someone?" She asked and Hana nodded while furiously wiping the tears of her face. Hyunwoo, Hoseok and even Hyojin were now looking at Hana who seemed to be in pain.

„I can't just leave like this. I wouldn't ever have the chance to see him again. And I love seeing him!" Hana continued crying and her Mum smiled softly before embracing her daughter.

„Oh Chicken!" She smiled. „I know it's hard to have a crush on someone and I understand you don't want to go back to Ireland because you won't be able to see him anymore but we have to think of your health as well. And the air and fine dust here aren't good for your condition." Audrey said and wiped Hana's tears.

„Let's make a deal, Hana." Hyunwoo said and looked at his daughter. Hoseok and Hyojin looked at their father intensely, wondering what deal Mr. Coghlan wanted to make with Hana. „We let you graduate here in Korea. But you must promise us that you're going to a Univerisity that's not in a city like Seoul." Hyunwoo said and looked at Hana with widened eyes. Hana immediately nodded.

With that deal, she had enough time to confess to Mark and spent some nice days with him before she had to leave for the countryside once and for all.

„I promise it, Dad!" She yelled and hugged her father, thinking about Mark once again. She still had some time to confess. Now she just had to collect some courage. But she knew with her best friends help she'll be able to confess just easily.

„Shall we go out to get some Jjangmyeon?" Hoseok then asked and everyone agreed and the family spent a day walking around the buzzing streets in Gangnam, ending with Hyojin buying a huge Apeach pillow at KAKAO Friends.

Hana loved spending time with her family. But she also loved the feeling Mark gave her when he looked at her. And she only had four months left to at least tell him how she feels before they had to depart for ever. And Hana already knew now that this would break her heart immediatley.
