The forest stood silent, not much life was seen in these woods as monsters only ever roamed these areas, the air has filled the air was filled with the sound of a clip, the clopping of the horses. Virgil, Logan, and Deceit rode through the woods in hope of finding Roman and the purposive witch. Virgil took the lead and soon came to a halt! Ahead of them were a pack of Trolls, they knew that Trolls were not that intelligent but, they will attack anything that they believe is a threat to them and their territory. Virgil looked around to see if they could go around them, but with no luck, they drew their weapons, Deceit aimed his bow as Virgil raised his sword and Logan withdrew his sword. The Trolls saw them and roared so loud that the earth shook slightly, the five trolls came at them with their oversized wooden logs, Deceit shoots his arrows at them in hope of slowing them down as Virgil and Logan fought two of them. Deceit managed to shoot down two Trolls by shooting them in the eye as Logan and Virgil defeated their trolls, the last Troll was coming at full speed at Deceit casing him to pin Deceit to the ground, Virgil rushed to his aid and decapitated the Troll, "Here...", Virgil offered his hand as Deceit pulled himself up and took his hand, "Thank you, Virgil.", Virgil helped Deceit back on his horse when they heard it, "Hello?? What are you young men doing here???!", Virgil looked into the mist to see an old man, approaching them, "Sir, we're not here to cause any trouble, but I suggest you leave before the Trolls revive.", the old man stopped, pointed his bony finger at them and beckoning them towards him, "Follow me. . .", Deceit and Logan looked at Virgil for the signal. Virgil sensed no dark magic around him or near them, "Alright. . .", Virgil grabbed his horses regains and lead them to the old man, "Don't worry, sunny, I won't hurt ya...I presume you want information on the man that tried to kill me just a few hours ago.", Virgil followed him as Logan and Deceit exchanged looks. . .

The man leads them to an old shack that stood by the river, the man leads them inside, "Yes, a young man appeared out of nowhere and was holding the crown of Rose. I yelled at him, "Hey! What are you doin' around her'?!", his response was throwin' a dagger at me!", Virgil sighs heavily, as Logan recognized the name, "Wait, that was The Crown of Rose?!", the old man rocked in his chair and nodded, "Why, yes, I was surprised that he had such an item.", Deceit stepped forward, "Do you know about the witch?", the man nods, "I'd take a guess to say that man was under her manipulation.", Logan nods, "Well!", the old man stood up, "I ain't letting you youngsters go into battle unprepared!", he shifted over to an old antique chest, "I won't be needing these were I'm goin'. . .", he lifted the chest lid and pulled out a think leather book, the pages looked slightly burnt but in an stable condition, "I shall leave you The Spell Book of Oran.", he handed the book to Logan gentile, Logan bowed politely, "Why, Thank you, sir.", the old man reached into the chest again and pulled out a shield with the symbol of a snake, "The Shield of Cobra to you,", he handed the shield to Deceit who nods as a thank you, "and the sword of Aaron.", he pulls out a well-looked after sword and handed it to Virgil. Virgil held the sword and instantly felt comfortable with it...Suddenly there was a loud pounding on the door, the old man sat down in his chair and whispered, "Hide. . .", Deceit, Logan and Virgil took off down the basement and listened...Moments of silence went by, it almost felt like hours... A weak cry was suddenly heard followed by a slamming door. Virgil was the first to check it out and gasped, the others rushed up to see of horrid sight...The generous old man sat in his chair. . . But was now frozen solid, his eyes were closed like he was expecting this day to arrive...Logan and Virgil were horrified, while Deceit was just glad that Remus nor Patton would have to see this sight...They saw an old map laid out on the table, they felt like they might be sick...The only way to get the end of the Forest was by boating downriver. . .

Deceit and Logan managed to get their horses inside the shack as Virgil managed to get his horses in the basement. . . They bid their horses goodbye before making their way down to the river. . . Logan unties the boat from the dock pillar we carefully got on board the boat, "Alright, let's see where this map takes us. . .", Deceit offered to steer as Logan called out the directions and Virgil kept an eye out for foes. . .

As they sailed down the lake, Logan has read through the spellbook, Deceit kept an eye on the lake and Virgil kept looking around the riverside, Logan seemed rather interested in the spells that the book contained, "Logan? Could one of those spells light our way---", out of nowhere they heard something? The boat rocked a bit, Virgil and Logan slightly leaned over the edge only to scream, something jumped out of the water and looked like it had the body and head of a horse, but the tail of a mystical siren. It dove back into the water and caused the boat to rock the boat. Virgil leaned over the edge in shock, "What the heck was that!?", Logan recovered from the shock to respond, "That is a Kelpie. Is a shape-shifting water spirit inhabiting the lochs and pools of Scotland? It is a Celtic legend, and other cultures seem to have adopted it as well. It has usually been described as appearing as a horse but is able to adopt human form.", Deceit smiled, "Ah, yes! I and Remus have heard the er talk about those legends.", Logan continued to read the book, "Hmm...I think I found a spell that could help us.", Logan cleared his throat, " Expecto Patronum.", the pages of the book started to glow and a dove appeared out of the pages and had beautiful crystal blue eyes, "Woah. . .", the dove fly in front of us but left a trail for us to follow, "That's beautiful. . .", as we followed the light, a dock was soon coming into view, the dove perked itself on the pillar. Deceit managed to dock the boat and tie it up again. Logan smiled, "Thank you.", the dove flew around Logan before disappearing back into the pages of the spellbook. Virgil and Deceit stood side by side with Logan as they looked in the dark...The feeling of facing more creatures did faze them, but the thought of Thomas and Roman and that gave them the strength to continue their journey. . .
