After flying for a while we finally arrived at my home. I couldn't wait to show Astrid around and I hope she doesn't freak out about the mess that wild dragons might have made while we were. They can be tricky and naughty creatures sometimes. You really can't do much about their natural behaviour, even Toothless can make a mess if his not being watched. I remember this one day, a few months after arriving at the island, I was putting some stuff away and I hear this loud smash from behind me and I cringe knowing what it was. Toothless was chasing something while in the house and knocked all the cups off the shelf. I wasn't mad at. How could I be? I looked in his direction and started laughing. Only he could find a way to knock the cups off a shelf. I'll never forget that day.

We landed smoothly on the ground and I hopped off Toothless feeling the soft grass between my toes. Home. I pat Toothless on the head turn around to face Astrid.
"Ready to see where I've been living over these past few years"  I asked
"Yes, I'm so ready!" she said nearly screaming at the top of her lungs.
"Just remember that there might be some wild dragons. I don't know how they will react to either of us" I felt her grab my hand and squeeze. I smile and we made our way to my house. I guide her through all the bushes and tall trees. This place has changed a bit since the last time I was here. I hope I don't lead Astrid to weird place where I haven't been before. Just as I was about to panic, I felt a familiar patch of dirt and grass and my nerves went away. I walk up to the front door and push on it lightly to open it. As I step aside for Astrid to walk in but I think she is still in awe that my place is part of a tree. I let her admire my front door while I went in to get something to put our food on before we went out in search for it.
"Hiccup, this is amazing. How did you find it? It's beautiful" she said walking closer to me. I shrugged my shoulders
"Toothless found it actually. We were exploring and there was a huge thunderstorm, so he took me to the closest shelter and it was bigger on the inside. So we made it home."
"Wow and that just shows how much you trusted him so early in your friendship" She explains. She was kind of right though. Toothless and I were only friends for a few weeks and I trusted him enough to take me away from my village and to protect me out in the wild. I'm glad I found Toothless or I wouldn't have the independence I have today and I wouldn't be close to Astrid either. Just thinking about that made me walk up to her and hug her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and held her tight.
"What's this for?" she asked hugging me back just as tight.
"Just... everything" i pull back and kiss her on the cheek
"Hungry?" I say holding her hand
"Starving" she says letting go of my hand punching me on the arm.

We walk to a little stream where I know there are fish swimming around to catch some food. I hear Toothless and Stormfly splashing in the water either playing or catching fish. Astrid went to a bunch small tree that has berries and other fruits on it. I was just relaxing in the sun when I felt something hit my head.
"Ouch! What in Thor's name was that?" I yell rubbing my head. I hear Astrid's laughing not far from me.
"Sorry. I hoping to throw to your leg so you knew it was there but I threw it too hard" she said between giggles. I continue to rub my head but laugh it off because her laugh is so contagious. I hear her come up behind me and give me a kiss a head.
"All better now." She says then ruffles my hair.
"Don't do that. You know I hate that." I tell her.
"I know." She says. I could tell she was smiling at me so I smile back and pull her into a hug. We sat in silence waiting for the dragons to catch the fish and finish playing around.
