The very next day, Sophia and Hugo were very excited—it was their wedding day. They spent the day getting ready for the wedding.

Hugo was putting on his tuxedo, and his big brother, Brandon, was helping him look good for the bride.

"Oh, you look beautiful, baby brother," Brandon smiled.

"I can't believe it, Marcus," their mother, Dorothy Salonga, declared. "It seems like only yesterday when our sons were just wee lads. Now my youngest son is getting married to his high school sweetheart."

"You're right, Dorothy," Hugo's father, Marcus, agreed.

"Thanks," Hugo smiled. "This is the best day of my life, and having you here to share it means the world to me."

Meanwhile, Sophia herself was getting ready for the wedding. Miranda and the bridesmaids were helping the bride get ready. Sophia was wearing the necklace Hugo gave her, and she was also wearing the lavender slippers. Pretty soon, she was dressed in her blue wedding dress.

"Sophia, you look so beautiful," Cora smiled.

"Oh, Austin, it seems like only yesterday when Cora was getting married to Bryan Cummings," Miranda swooned.

"I couldn't have said it better myself, Miranda," Austin smiled.
