"I fell down the pit, Grunkle Stan." I told him as I dusted the shelves. He was standing behind the cash register, counting the paper cash.

"Uh huh," he replied, not even paying attention to what I was saying.

"I could've died."

"That's nice Dipper."

I rolled my eyes and put the feather duster down. I scratched the rash that had formed on the palm of my right hand as I looked around and noticed that Mabel was no where to be seen again. I went to the living room to find Stan sitting on the single plush couch, watching TV.

"Hey, Grunkle Stan, do you know where Mabel is?" I asked, standing in front of the TV because I know he won't respond otherwise.

"Your sister is having a sleepover with her two friends, Grandy and Cenda." He grumbled and tried to look around me to see the what was going on in the show.

"Oh." I should've known. I sat down on the yellow carpet in front of him and watch the TV while scratching my palm a few times.

"Hey, uh, Wendy left this for you?" He then handed me something wrapped in newspaper. I took, gently from him. I unwrapped the first layer and there was a note addressed to me.

'Hey, Dipper!
Found this when I was looking through my mom's stuff. Look familiar?

-Wendy'

I unwrapped the rest of the newspaper. "A mini me?" I picked up the stuffed doll. "That's strange." It looked exactly like me, even to the smallest detail. It had my brown star lucky hat that sat on my brown hair which covered my birthmark, my blue vest that I wore over my orange shirt, my black shorts and sneakers with white socks sticking out. The only real difference was the fact it had black buttons for eyes.

"Ha! So it's a doll!" Stan laughed.

"I didn't ask for it!" I said in defense. "I don't know why Wendy would give me this. Dolls and stuffed animals are more Mabel's thing. Wendy just gave it to me..." I look back at the mini me. I smiled to myself at the thought. It's been a long time since someone gave me a toy, they always give it to Mabel.

"Whatever kid," Stan mumbled and had his attention back on the TV.

I quickly got bored of the show Stan was watching, Gravity Falls didn't give anything good for entertainment. I got up and took the mini me around with me to see the fake exhibits. It was like giving someone a private tour. I laugh at the thought of it.

"And then there's the Cornicorn," I told mini me. "I wish Grunkle Stan actually had some actual mysterious stuff or these things to at least be real." I scratched my hand again.

"DINNER'S READY!" Stan shouted for me. I sighed and made my way to the kitchen table, passing by the little door in the hall with the brick wall behind it. I pull back the plastic chair and sit down at the table, letting mini me sit in the chair next to me. Mabel usually would be in the seat next to me but she haven't been around much lately so it was just me and Grunkle Stan most of the time. He set down what was suppose to be a casserole in front of us, I wouldn't be surprise if Stan's cooking got some in the hospital.

"Grunkle Stan, can't we just go out to eat or order pizza, or anything other than your cooking?" I asked not wanting to eat his mushy food again.

"Look, I'm sorry I'm not wild crazy cook you see in those restaurants but I'm not made of money here to go out," he told me. A twenty dollar bill peaked out of his sleeve. I gave him an unamused look as he taps the bill back into his sleeve.

I turned to mini me. "Do think he's lying?" I asked him then make him nod it's head as a joke.

"Hey!" Stan snapped. "It's either this or you go to bed." He then picked up his food with his fork and started eating it.

I looked back at mini me. "Would you rather go to sleep than eat this?" I made him nod before sighing. I got up from the table and pushed my chair in. "Night Grunkle Stan." I walked out of the old kitchen and made my way up the wooden stairs that led to the attic.

I opened the door, letting light come into the room. I sigh, seeing no Mabel. She's only been at Candy's or Grenda's lately, no time for her brother. I dawdled over to the nightstand that stood between our beds and turned on the lantern before I closed the door. I set mini me down on the wooden crate that sat next to my bed. I put my lucky hat on the nightstand.

I see the photograph of me and Mabel being silly. I picked it up with a sigh. I turned it around to show mini me and pointed to Mabel. "That's my sister, Mabel." I turn the picture back so that I can look at it. "We usually hangout all the time together but lately she's been hanging around her friends." I put the picture back. "Maybe I'm just jealous that she has people who want to be around her and listen. I wish I could have that."

I turned the lantern off and pulled the blankets over me. I looked back at the smaller version of myself.

"Goodnight, mini me."
