"Hold on, let me get this straight," Libra muttered, rubbing her forehead. The zodiac cat was perched on a podium, making her look menacing, despite her small size. Gazing down at the two cats sitting below her, she questioned, "You came to my office today claiming that you would like to adopt this planet cat as your own child, correct?"

"Yes, that is correct your honor," the Sun replied, craning his neck back so he could look Libra in the eye. Funny, for him it was usually the other way around. Everyone had to look up at him. Sitting next to the star cat was little Earth, wrapped up by his fluffy tail. Her neck was hurting, she had it tipped all the way back just so she could see Libra on her podium.

"I assume you are well aware of the fact that others are going to be... how do I put this... staring at you? Gossiping about you? Questioning you?" Libra pointed out a matter of factly. Geez, the zodiac cat can be really monotonous at times. Earth trembled quietly. She was frightened by this feline. Unfazed, the Sun answered, "Yes, I am aware, your honor. And I will be ready for that."

"Mr. Sun, do you realize that, if I allow this adoption to go through, this will be the first time a star cat adopted a planet cat to raise as their own child?" Libra asked, tilting her head to the side. Her mismatched blue and orange eyes met the Sun's shade covered ones. Returning her gaze evenly, the Sun replied, "I do realize that your honor." Bending down and nuzzling Earth lovingly, he continued, "And I see no problems with that. Do you?"

"Absolutely not! I love this idea! Let's get this adoption underway right now!" Libra exclaimed cheerfully. Just like that, the scary part was over. The frightening facade was cast aside, revealing the zodiac cat's bubbly nature. Wagging her tail, Libra meowed excitedly, "Oh my Celestial this is amazing! We are making history, people! Move out of the way! I need those adoption papers!"

"Huh, I think I prefer scary Libra over this version," the Sun remarked quietly to Earth.

"Here we are! I just need you to sign where it's highlighted," Libra chirped, coming back and placing a stapled set of papers before the much bigger Sun. This was it. These were the adoption papers. Just a few signatures would change the Sun and Earth's lives forever. This was the big moment. Gratefully taking the pen from Libra, the Sun began signing his name where it was needed. The whole process was over in about five minutes. Looking up at the star cat next to her, Earth squeaked, "We're family now?"

"Yes we are Earth," the Sun replied, giving her a gentle hug, "Yes we are."
