Bobby Santiago was in his room while waiting for one of his beloved girlfriend's phone call. He always enjoyed them...to be more specific, he did enjoy them until he got a little older and more busier. He often worked long nights so hearing his girlfriend call when he was about to pass out..wasn't fun. Not to mention the countless anniversaries that she made up which causes him to spend a ridiculous amount of money almost every week.

"Sigh...I should talk to her about this." He mumbled to himself. It was easy for him to tell that the magic of their relationship has dimmed. It didn't help that she rambled on and on about her day, what her friends did, what her sisters did or tell that ridiculous story that her brother was bad luck. It was clear that he wasn't, but she honestly believed in that story...oh, how he wanted to make her see reason. Bad luck doesn't exist and even if it did, why would it strike now? His thoughts were cut off when his mother, sister and his sister's friend walked in with somber expressions on their faces.

"Bobby, May I ask you a question?" His mother asked. He raised his eyebrow, but nodded since it seemed to be important.

"Did you know about this bad luck incident?" Maria asked.

"You mean that crazy story that Lori made up?" Bobby asked.

"Wait, crazy story?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"Yeah. She just started talking on and on about how her brother is bad luck and how she agreed to kick him out of the house. It was stupid, but no matter what I said about it...she would brush it off, get angry or just hang up." Bobby said.

"So, you knew about it, but thought that it was a made up story?" Sid asked.

"It just sounded so crazy and stupid. I mean, if Lincoln was truly bad luck then why would things happen now? It just drove me insane and I honestly wanted to call the police, but I didn't have any evidence to prove anything." Bobby said.

"So you didn't buy into it?" Maria asked.

"Why all the questions? Did something happen to Lincoln?" Bobby asked. The three woman then proceeded to tell Bobby what happened and by the end...he looked disappointed and angry.

"I can't believe that she did something like that. What was she even thinking?" Bobby exclaimed. His answer shocked his family members and Sid who thought that he was still deeply in love with Lori.

"I'm surprised that you didn't believe any of it. I mean, you're so lovestruck for her so..." Ronnie Anne began before Bobby continued to speak.

"I was until I started to become busier during the night. Each time I try to get some sleep, she calls me. She also has the nerve to plan all of these anniversaries on random days and expects a present leaving me nearly broke each week." Bobby said.

"Bobby, do you even still love Lori anymore?" Maria asked.

"If I did, then that love completely got destroyed by her actions and decisions. I can't stand being around her if this is what she does when things go wrong for her or one of her family members." Bobby said.

"So what are you going to do?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"I'm going to break up with her and give her a piece of my mind." Bobby stated as he started to March over to his car keys while leaving the girls stunned.

"I did not expect that to happen." Sid said. Maria and Ronnie Anne couldn't help themselves from agreeing with her since they thought that he honestly believed in Lori's choices. After a while, they heard Bobby shout at them to head to his car and quickly rushed out. Never knowing that this was one of the many surprises coming from this situation.

Though it was nothing compared to the future reunion with Lincoln and his harem and new mother.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
