"M-Mosspaw, there's some horsetail over here!" Bearpaw called to the black and white apprentice as she stood beside the thunderpath. Mosspaw padded up to Bearpaw and bent over "Where?" She asked as Bearpaw flexed her claws behind her. She flattened herself to the ground and pounced on Mosspaw, bowling her into the thunderpath. Mosspaw shrieked as Bearpaw clawed her neck and bit her tightly. "I'm the new medicine cat apprentice now!"
She hissed and ran away. While she ran, a monster tore down the thunderpath and knocked Mosspaw unconscious. She turned her head and saw the apprentice covered in blood. "They'll want to burry her," she meawed as she crept onto the rough surface of the thunderpath and bit into the blood covered apprentice's scruff.

"A-a monster hit her. We were chasing some rouges out then she got hit" Bearpaw reported as she lay Mosspaw's limp body in the sandy hollow. Nightwhisper ran over and yowled sadly. Bearpaw sat beside Mosspaw and the mourning medicine cat. She looked around and went to get the other apprentices
