I walk into Martinez Enterprises with Dick and Sandra. "I'll see you later, Dick." I kiss him on the cheek.

I open the door to the mail and find Cody leaning against the desk. "What do you want, Cody?"

He moves towards me and hugs. "I want to apologise?"

I throw my hands in the air. "For what? Dumping me at the church? Taking off with Kendal? Shutting me out? Breaking my heart?"

He runs his hands threw my hair. "All the above. I'm sorry, Ashton."

I shake my head. "It's not that easy to win me back, Cody. You hurt me. Can you please go away."

He kisses the top of my head. "I'll make it up to you I promise." Cody walks out the door. "I still love you, you know."

I watch him leave.

"I love you, too." I whisper.

I stamp some of the boxes that needs to be posted today. I pull my top off and wipe away the sweat from my forehead.

Sandra walks into the room. "Dani, how are you feeling?"

"I'm hot." I pick up the bottle of water and drink.

Sandra feels my forehead. "You should go home."

I shake my head. "I can't. If I go home I'll sit around thinking about the man upstairs and I don't want to spend that time thinking about him. I need a distraction this is it."

Sandra stands next to me and she helps me with all the stuff in the mail room.

Sasha walks into the room and she places a box on the table. "This is for you, Dani. It's from Mr Black."

I look up from the mail. "Thank you, Sasha."

She crosses her arms. "Aren't you going to open it?"

I shake my head. "You can have it if you want."

Sandra picks up the box. "You can't have it. Get out of here, Sasha."

Sasha slams the door.

Sandra and I finish with the mail in the room and then we visit the rest of the workers. I get coffee/tea for people in the office and get copies for them.

At lunch time I walk into the kitchen and eat my sandwich. Someone walks in with a bacon and egg roll.

Not again.

I run to the sink and throw up.

The girl walks over to me. "Are you alright?"

I shake my head. "Can you get Sandra."

The girl exits the room and Sandra walks in with a cup of water. "Drink this. I should take you home."

"Alright," I whisper.

Sandra takes my arm. "We have to see Mr Black first."

Sandra and I take the lift to the top floor. "Are you feeling better?"

I nod. "Have to do something before we go home."

She smiles. "What's that?"

"It's time for a song." The lift doors open and I exit.

Cody opens his door when he sees me.

I start to sing: You should have stayed by Taylor Swift.

That song broke my heart.

I sit on the ground. My vision starts to blur. "I'm sorry, Ashton. What more do you want from me?"

"Action speaks louder than words, Cody. Also, I want to know what made you run from me. Was I not enough for you?" She cries.

"You were everything to me Ashton. I never meant to hurt you this much. Give me a chance and I won't disappoint you, baby." I look into her eyes.

Mr Martinez exits his room. "It won't be easy, Cody. She's as stubborn as her mother."

"Do you have to tell him that?"

He laughs. "Yes, I don't want him to think he's missed his chance with you."

I move towards her. "Will you have dinner with me?"

She collapses.

I catch her before she lands on the ground. I put her gently on the ground. "Call an ambulance." I shout.

Richard picks up the phone.

I turn to Sandra. "Do you know what's wrong with her?"

Sandra shrugs. "Ashton's been throwing up a little and she can't stand the smell of certain foods. This is the first time she's fainted."

Mr Martinez drags his hands through his hair. "Shit!"

I turn to him. "Do you know what's wrong with her?"

He nods.

I wait for him to answer.

After a couple minutes of silence I say. "Well?"

"It's not my place to talk to you about this." He waves his hand at his daughter. "Ashton will tell you when she's ready. Don't push her, Cody." He opens he door to his office and stays there.

The ambulance officers take care of her.

Mr Martinez steps out of the office. "All of you can go to the hospital. I'll meet you there after I've cancelled all my meetings. My wife will meet you there." He paces in his office.

I climb into the ambulance with her. They hook her up to an IV.

What's wrong with her?
