Author's notes: The song of the day for today is another classical piece "Silencio" by Beethoven, there is reason to love this song it exudes a feeling of a old forest in a fantasy setting to tell you the truth I think the dark woods from dark souls is a good setting for this as it embraces fantasy tropes like magic and brings to life vegetation like mushrooms, another great time is to listen to this song is when the sun is just rising banishing the dark of night this sight along with the song entices emotions I can hardly describe. The video and music belong to their respective owners.

The man took quick steps backward dodging multiple thrust, his eyes we're still firmly locked on Pearl's, he was waiting for that second she slipped and there it was quickly Pearl preformed her last thrust which the man parried following it up with a riposte, Pearl seeing this tried to block the attack quickly raising her blade into a defensive position, once more the man slid down the blade, this time he did a spin behind her after disengaging blade contact, a elbow greeted her in the kidneys knocking the air out of her, throwing her back to the ground all Pearl could do was wince as the pain finally registered, as she rolled over to greet her opponent a blade greeted her throat "It's over Pearl, where is Rose?"  the man asked in his rough voice clearly annoyed "I will never tell you!" Pearl yelled in defiance "I'll take your gem then!" the man said readying his final strike, all of a sudden Steven came out of nowhere, Rose's shield in hand blocking the felling stroke yelling "Leave her alone!" Rose's shield took the initial strike, the man's sword imbedded itself quarter of the way through the shield inches from Steven's hand fearing this Steven took a step back pulling a substantial amount of the blade from the blade, slowly the shield started to crumble as the man put more pressure onto the blade, it wouldn't last much longer agianst this force, using this time Pearl scrambled for her sword, as Rose's shield disappeared Pearl shot a thrust out from behind it, this sight surprised even him, the man barely dodged it, acting on instinct he grabbed Pearl's wrist and pulled her towards him, throwing a elbow into the side of her head
                       Pearl's POV
All went dark for a second as I crumpled to the ground, before my vision finally evened out, slowly it went into tunnel vision allow me to see Steven crying beside me, "I've failed him, I've failed you... Rose." Pearl thought sadly, tears slowly ran down her face before losing consciousness.
