Author's notes: The song of the day is another Steam Powered Giraffes song by the name of "Honeybee" one thing I've noticed about Steam Powered Giraffes is that they're really good at love songs, of course they have made other great songs that aren't love songs, it's just that these emotions resonate in me, knowing how it is to be in love. The man's gaze fell upon the boy who fell to his knees, tears staining the sand below him, the man's eyes wandered till they landed upon the shield, the rose adorning the shield took the breath from him, the person he'd been looking for stood right in front of him as a grovelling child, he took a few steps towards the child bending down to his level "Rose? Is that you?" the man asked clearly confused, the child's tears came to a abrupt stop looking up at the man, confusion written all over his face "Why do you want my mother?" the boy asked between gasps and more choked sobs "Mother?" the man asked himself looking down at the ground in front of him in thought, only to be interrupted by the stare of this child, he appeared adamant about getting a answer, the man embarrassed by the situation rushed to his feet giving a quick DIamond salute before dramatically stating "I'm here to join the army of Rose Quartz, you are?" the child found himself trembling angerly when one simple thought crossed his mind "why?" and he put it into language quite eloquently "Why did you attack us then?!" the boy yelled out in outrage, angry that his fellow crystal gems laid battered on the beach, the man let loose a large before attempting to explain why he did what he did "I needed to see how far they've come in 5,000 years." the man stated walking over to an unconscious Pearl, a look of disappointment spread across his face as he lifted Pearl over his shoulder "Let's bring them inside." the man said as he began walking towards the temple, he was stopped by the child who had one more question for him "Wait you said you needed to see how far they came in 5,000 years, you know them don't you. the boy asked inquisitively "Indeed, I would tell you now, but I think it's best we get them inside first." the man said, a ting of guilt in his voice before taking his leave "I guess you're right." the boy said running over to the Amethyst grabbing under her arms pulling her across the beach grunting as he struggled to pull her across the beach.

                    3 Minutes Later
The three gems we're laid on the couch, each one looked ridiculous, the Amethyst was drooling onto her knee, the Garnet had her arms stretched out along the back of the couch, head back mouth open, Pearl was biting the arm of the couch like a dog chewing a bone.
