Author's notes: I'm sorry for the late update today, but if you know me, you know I love Dark Souls and been playing it like a man obsessed though today I finally hit a snag with the Nameless King, a three hour snag mind you. The song of the day today is "(I always kill) the things I love" from the game L.A. Noire, it's a beautifully seductive song about a women who kills her lovers, needless to say she's deadly black widow with a amazing voice. The video and music belong to their respective owners.

They all sat speechless, the silence was uncomfortable before Amethyst asked the one question they all wanted to ask "What was that?!" with a tinge of fear in her voice, she began shaking again "That was the destruction of my ship, The Crown Jewel!" Diamond responded triumphantly "So, why did you show us this?" Pearl asked nervously, at this Diamond shot up from his seat, startling the crystal gems, with a booming voice Diamond declared "This is a symbol of my defection!" "Defection?" Pearl said to herself before realizing he meant "I have come to join Rose's army! Diamond said before getting interrupted by Pearl yelling "No!" what followed was a couple seconds of awkward silence causing Pearl to blush as she felt multiple eyes fall upon her, trying to get out of this situation, she grabbed Amethyst who was sitting next to her and pulled her away audibly voicing her opinion on the matter, the word "monster" was used a lot "Monster." Diamond repeated it to himself before bringing his attention back to Garnet who was currently checking Steven for any conceivable scratch "I'm alright." Steven said trying to push Garnet away clearly embarrassed "Do you not believe me? Diamond asked eyebrow cocked in confusion at her actions "No, I don't." Garnet said plainly "I would never hurt a child." Diamond stated in disbelief "Bullshit!" Garnet yelled out venomously this simple curse shocked everyone, especially Steven whose mouth was agape in disbelief, unbeknownst to everyone else there was a war raging inside of Garnet ever since they laid their eyes of Diamond

"You know what he did to you!" Ruby yelled tears in her eyes, Sapphire just stood there crying "I know, but please Ruby, please stop!" Sapphire begged between choked sobs, Ruby couldn't do it, she couldn't do it, so in the end she relinquished control knowing she would hurt Sapphire, if she went through with the attack.
