Author's notes: The song of the day today is from another videogame this time one close to my childhood "Dark cloud main theme" from Dark Cloud of course it was a great dungeon crawler RPG that was released around the beginning of the PS2 and you know what, I put thousands of hours into it as child, always humming this theme, the theme conveys the feeling of going on a epic adventure in a fantasy world. The video and music belong to their respective owners.

Garnet's fist was inches from Diamond's face, there were many surprised faces littered across the room "Garnet, Stop!" Pearl yelled realizing what almost transpired at that moment Sapphire took control of Garnet, she became conscious of her environment of what happened, her arms started shaking tears filled her eyes as she stared into Diamond's, his eyes showed sorrow unequal and rivaled to think this from a man who lived through countless wars and never batted a eye at it, Sapphire couldn't take it all those eyes staring at her, so as tears freely flowed down her face she bolted out the front door "Garnet?!" everyone but Diamond yelled rushing to the door concerned "Stop!" Diamond yelled as they grabbed for the door, Diamond's eyes hardened once more at the predictable backlash "What?! She needs us! Amethyst yelled angrily "She's right!" Pearl said agreeing with Amethyst "She needs time!" Diamond said arms crossed "You caused this!" Pearl pointed accusingly at Diamond this got his attention "You may be right, that's why I should be the one to fix it." Diamond stated glaring at Pearl causing her to growl angrily before walking away, the hate Pearl had for Diamond could not be more evident than at that exact moment, left with Steven and Amethyst, Diamond tried to make idle conversation, but before he could speak a single word Steven asked him in a sorrowful tone "Is Garnet going to be okay?" "Listen Steven, I studied people for many years, Garnet couldn't punch me, she was reluctant, she doesn't know how to feel right now and needs time to work out her emotions, I will talk to her and get this resolved, on this you have my word." Steven sat there very quiet taking in every word "You're right!" Steven said a lot happier believing Diamond's own words, Steven then walked after Pearl, Diamond whispered under his breath "One already cured." Amethyst sat across from him leaning against the wall watching him, when she noticed Diamond eyes landed upon her chest tightened up "Are you alright?" Diamond asked noticing her strange behavior "Y-yeah." Amethyst said stuttering, fear in her eyes "I'm sorry, I scare you, forgive me I must take my leave." Diamond said regretfully, saddened by Amethyst's reaction to his presence soon going after Garnet, Amethyst was shocked by his perception and felt bad for being scared of this old man, yet the stories that preceded him made him out as a merciless demon.
