Author's notes: We have just hit 500 views today and I'm celebrating like usual with a big bag of popcorn. Okay so the song of the day today is another Queen song "Killer Queen" to be exact, this is a fabulous song about a queen who indulges her desires while also treats all her citizens to the same luxuries she has, she changes her address to avoid arguments, sorry if I'm not really good at describing this song it's basically just a good song and it's lyrics don't convey much but indulgence. The city of R'yleh

R'yleh was a dark picturesque place filled with large cobblestone streets, at night the city glowed, lights filled those dark houses illuminating the small gems, they played amongst each other, each one was recently adopted into families, a common event in gem society as gemkind couldn't naturally reproduce so when gems are born their sent to what is called "Adoption Centers" where they are taught during the early years of their life until they are adopted by gem citizens upon their 10th birthday, Ruby was one of these children adopted by a local bookbinder and his wife

3 Years Later
"Ruby? Are you in here?" a soft male voice asked as he walked into a dark room, a candlestick in hand, the small flame lept at the darkness revealing Ruby leaned back in a chair softly snoring, a desk laid in front of her with a book sprawled open on it, putting two and two together he chuckled before swinging his daughter to his chest after a short walk through the dark house, he arrived outside his daughter's room luckily the door was slightly ajar allowing him to pull the door open with his foot, the light soon revealed a small bed covered in a large red blanket with the outmost care he placed his daughter beneath the covers, a smile graced his face as he watched his daughter pull the covers to herself with that he took his leave walking down the stairs his eyes was filled with the sight of his beautiful wife, her cherry red hair sat halfway down her back, one of her eyes was covered by a single large bang, she wore a bright white dress crow feathers adorned her collarbone, slowly he wrapped his wife in a loving embrace "You know I love you right." he whispered lovingly "Oh...I know." she said chuckling, a smile spread across her face what followed was a touching scene as the lovers shared a kiss, content in each other's presence and embrace.
