Author's notes: The song of the day today is "Fancy shoes" by Steam Powered Giraffes, this a rather weird song sung by Hatchworth who to me personally fits this song perfectly, now like "Killer Queen" there isn't much for me talk about in terms of the song except that it's all based around these weird shoes Hatchworth's wearing and it seems as if he's trying to enlighten us about shoes. The video and music belong to their respective owners.

Pyrope-Ruby's Mother

Drawn by my Sister Goatseverywhere
-------------------------------------------------------------

                 The following day
"Do you think she'll like it?" Ruby's father said nervously his right hand brushed through his chestnut brown hair "Listen." his wife said turning to face him, his brown eyes connecting with her light green ones "I know she will love it, you don't need to worry it's not like when we first met her, she has grown to love her father." his wife said reassuringly him with a smile he embraced his wife thanking her for putting his mind at ease, he had always been nervous when it came to their daughter, he knew adopted gems we're ignorant to prospects such as love considering their early lives we're filled with countless hours of solitude, so these gems never grew emotionally and these emotions we're to be instilled by the parents, needless to say this responsibility scared him, at that moment a tired Ruby came walking down the stairs, what soon greeted her was her father standing there nervously smiling with his hands behind his back, sweat started pouring from his forehead "Um...hi Dad." Ruby said awkwardly noticing her father's weird actions, with that he swallowed the lump in his throat and held out the gift he had hidden behind his back, Ruby's eyes lit up it was a small leather bound book the words "The silver dawn of Argeus" was inscribed upon the cover, Ruby lept upon her father with a hug, to say she was happy was a understatement, for the last week she found herself emersed in her father's books especially a series called "The writings of a wandering gem" it was a fictional series about a wandering Tigers Eye who explores old gem temples and fights multiple battles in search of a place to call home, her father merely chuckled as his daughter took the book and ran up to his study to read the new book, meanwhile his wife smiled at the events that unfolded in front of her, she had to admit Ruby could be cute sometimes even more so her husband who sat with a big smile on his face.
