Those next few days they talked about pretty much everything from their parents to hobbies and favorite books, but those days when Sapphire contracted a fever leaving Ruby all alone once more as she tended to a unconscious Sapphire "It's going to be okay." Ruby said trying to calm herself as she glanced nervously at the sick Sapphire, who was panting heavily and whose forehead was drenched in sweat, Ruby walked over to the water pail, tore of the cuffs of her shirt, soaked them and returned to Sapphires side, dabbing the wet cloth on Sapphire's forehead, the cool liquid caused Sapphire to groan "Tonight, Sapphire tonight." Ruby spoke out softly to the unconscious Sapphire, tonight she planned to sneak back into a local Hostipal she rummaged through about a week ago for some supplies unfortunately out of all the things she nabbed fever medicine wasn't one of them, yet it would be much more difficult now as the soldiers taken up refuge in the hospital and turned it into a base of operations and Sapphire condition was getting worse

                   Later that Night

"Please, wait for me to get back." Ruby said nervously fearing for Sapphire's life as she left her side, venturing out into the ruins of their once great city, the silence the city once had was broken as soldiers paced back and forth their armor making a distinct clinking sound as they moved alerting Ruby of their presence, Ruby currently resided in a tree waiting for the guards next shift, knowing how these guards won't leave for 5 minutes after their dismissal, but will strike up a conversation with the guard that relieved them of duty and soon enough it happened, the other guard appeared, quickly jumping down from the tree, Ruby ran across the hostipal's lawn hiding herself behind a hedge, she peeked out a whole minute later to greeted to a wondrous sight, two guards making idle chit-chat, Ruby let loose a sigh of relief knowing everything was going as planned and with that she made her way down the path surrounding the hospital, making sure to remain concealed behind various pieces of greenery, till she knew she far away from the guards line of sight, she then bolted for the windows luckily she found one unlocked and slid into the hostipal.
