Author's notes: The song of day today is "Gloomy Sunday" by Billie Holiday, wow did not think I would come across this song so fast, I have to give some historical context to this song considering it's nickname "The Hungarian Suicide Song" this song was written around World War II by Resso Seress but was added to by poet Laszlo Javor who wrote in a plot where the singer want's to kill themselves after the death of a loved one, know you now why it has the reputation of "The Hungarian Suicide Song" yet there is another layer to it a urban legend claims 17 people killed themselves to this song because of it's depressing nature none of this is documented, but one thing has been the songs creator did commit suicide, now that I can't talk about this song I can only praise it as it does pull up the desired emotion which is sorrow and the fact it can do that is truly amazing and is a testament to the writer involved in it's creation. Now before I go if your feeling suicidal I implore you see a therapist or call a suicide hotline.

The wing she slipped into was thankfully not in use yet, even though the soldiers already had control of the Hostipal, they never seemed to post a guard to this particular wing as the noisy clinking of armor was absent from the long, often echoing halls, Ruby made her way down the hall till her eyes fell upon a door labelled storage finally something she was familiar with, this is where she went last time she came here, the storage room was filled to the brim with medicines and various medical instruments, unfortunately though everything was boxed and wasn't properly labelled leading Ruby to go through the argueous task of opening boxes in search of the fever medicine

In the other wing

In the other wing, a medic was operating on a soldiers arm that had been pierced in multiple places by shrapnel, blood oozed down the soldier's arm as the medic used forceps to pull out the shards of metal, the soldier rested his elbow on a surgical tray letting the blood run down into it, unfortunately the soldier wasn't sedated and had to bear the pain as metal tore it's way out of his skin "Procure materials on sight, yeah right! These gems didn't even know about anesthetics!" the medic raved as he operated on the soldier's arm "You know the General wouldn't have ordered that if he knew how undeveloped these gems are." a soft feminine voice said trying to justify her superiors orders "I know, I know! Sorry it's just been very stressful without anesthetics, having soldiers injure themselves more when I operate." the medic said clearly exhausted at that the woman went to the medic's side and asked "Need help?" showing concerned for the overworked medic, the tired medic missed her concerned tone and instead believed she was offering help job-wise looking around he noticed the table he put all his medical instruments on, there was only a small amount of gauze left on it's roll "If you don't mind, I'm running out of gauze." the medic stated leaving the woman dumbfounded "Oh...okay." the woman said as she realized what was asked of her.
