The song of the day today is
"Broken Promise" from Dark Cloud, a videogame from my youth, this song conveys sorrow and the passage of time very well it has something to do with repeative notes and the use of higher notes to express finality, this may be the most underrated videogame soundtrack of all time at least in my opinion.

Ruby heard the loud footfalls of that persistent gem as she bounded down the hallway, Ruby soon found herself in a nearby cabinet hiding from that large gem, who stomped through the room, the utensils were being kicked around creating a metal on metal clinking sound as they clashed, Ruby jumped slightly when the gem slammed her hands down on the counter above her, what followed was a loud sigh "Damn it! Where could they've gone? I'll have to make a report of this for Diamond, send out extra patrols and reinforce security." these were just a few of the complaints Ruby heard as the gem vented her frustration, letting loose another large sigh before finally shuffling off, Ruby sat there for a few minutes recounting the last couple hours "I did it...I did it." Ruby said glancing down at the vial in her hands, a weary smile crossed her tired face, finding it cramped Ruby slid out of the cabinet, stretching her now throbbing legs all the while thinking of Sapphire, another wider smile crossed her face as she thought of a equally joyous Sapphire "Don't worry Sapphire, I'll be right there." Ruby said happily before she started the argueous walk back to her side, unbeknownst to Ruby, a figure stood atop the building looking out across the destroyed city

                          Rose POV
"Hmm..." Rose hummed outloud as she glanced down at the streets and the remnants of the surrounding houses searching for any signs of movement in the ruins of R'yleh, she ran her hands though her hair, trying to play with her curls, disappointed when she realized her hair lost their curls in the Hospital, when the sprinklers went off, so Rose left with her long pink locks, often streaked her fingers through her hair, in a attempt to entertain herself, after about 10 minutes of scanning the surrounding land, Rose noticed the fleeing form of the intruder as she made her way down the street "You will not escape!" Rose silently proclaimed as she stalked her prey
