Author's notes: I know I've sadly put this story on a preemptive Hiatus on this story during a big action scene, I can only fathom how disappointed some of you are with this and me for doing this, well considering my severe lack of time as of late I would like to give you a Week of "The Defection of General Diamond" chapters signalling the true start of it's Hiatus, I'm not exactly sure when I'll be able to do this, but I will announce it beforehand for all you fans, now I will get back to the story after the first 10 chapters of my Gravity Falls story, and the completion of my first Steven Universe short story which is the continuation of my Steven Universe one-shot.

The song of the day today is "Castle of Silence" from the game Shadow Hearts, I know virtually nothing about this game other than this song which is amazing, the wind sound effects cut in and out perfectly accenting the chorus I'm the background before doing the same with a excellent violin piece that portrays to me a sad scene on top of a mountain or a very windy night in a castle.

Stay where you are! The large gem yelled out glaring at Ruby who was masked in the shadow of this gem, the gems footsteps echoed loudly inside Ruby's head, soon being replaced by a familiar mocking voice "It's over, she will die!" for the first time since that voice arrived Ruby spoke back "I still have a chance!" She said to herself, her hand clenched the vial tightly "She will survive this!" Ruby yelled out to the voice in defiance, at that moment Ruby's body heated up once more, this time the flames produced arched upwards and illuminated the whole room, blinding the large gem seeing her opportunity Ruby ran as fast as she could out of the room, the long hall she ran down was filled with large scorch marks and small flames as she bolted down the hall, the large gem stumbled out of the storeroom giving chase to the small gem, when Ruby made it half way down the hall, the Hostipal's fire alarm and sprinkler system went off, reacting to the fire created from Ruby's footprints, soaking both gems, Ruby's normal puffy hair was now pinned to her scalp, the other gems large pink curls became large pink locks, suddenly Ruby shot into one of the rooms hoping to escape the Hostipal through one of the windows, luckily the room she had entered was the same one she used to infiltrate the Hostipal meaning the window was still open with merely a few feet between Ruby and the large gem chasing her, Ruby dived out the window as she ran across the lawn of the Hostipal she saw multiple lights converging on her location, quickly looking behind her she saw the large gem struggling to get out of the window, by the time she managed to get out of the window their must have been at least 500 ft between them, the large gem didn't stop giving chase though, Ruby noticing her persistence made her way into the ruins of a large two story building in a attempt to lose the large gem, eventually after running for a good minute she found herself in a large kitchen it was in a messy state as multiple utensils littered the floor along with pieces of broken ceramic plates, many of tiles adorning the room where cracked and shattered.
