The song of the day today is "Freya's Theme" from Final Fantasy IX, I have no idea what's going on but all my favorite songs are coming up merely by chance, this song is calm, sad and strangely relaxing one and sums up Freya Crescent wonderfully, Freya's story is a sad one needless to say, she lived in a realm of eternal rain called Burmecia with her lover a fellow knight named Iron Tail Fratley that is until he leaves on a journey across the world never to show up again, Freya travels the world looking for her love and is reunited with him after the genocide of a great deal of their species only to learn he has amnesia and has forgotten her completely instead of sobbing she picks herself up and casts aside her feelings and continues fighting for the remnants of her once great kingdom, why did I tell you all this because she is a true hero in my book and in a world where people see no true female heroes it's nice to have seen her and known her struggle.

As a smile crossed Ruby's face, a sudden force threw her to the ground, Ruby tried pulling herself back up, but a large boot found itself firmly planted in her back "You aren't going anywhere!" a venomous voice spat "You've given me enough trouble, you damn pebble!" the voice declared as she grinded her boot into Ruby's back, causing Ruby to his in pain, Ruby sat there with clenched teeth as the large gem continued to grind her boot into her, with a sudden burst of energy, Ruby pushed herself up off the ground causing the gem above her to stumble backwards as her foot was pushed higher into the air, knocking her off balance, allowing a angry Ruby to slip out of the larger gem's grasp as Ruby turned around her eyes were drawn to those familiar pink locks, instantly recognizing the gem "You again, stop following me!" Ruby yelled out angrily, her eyes glaring daggers at the large gem, as she summoned her gauntlets "Quiet, pebble! Give yourself up, you've committed a crime agianst the Diamond Authority and will be punished!" the large gem proclaimed, her volume caused Ruby to wince, Ruby brought her gauntlets up to her face, taking a boxing stance "Fine, if you won't stand down, I'll just bring you back in bits!" the large gem spat venomously, a dark twisted smile spread across her lips as she drew her sword, a rather basic longsword, cruciform crossguard, spherical pommel, leather wrapped grip, the only unique feature was that a diamond was etched into the ricasso, slowly the gem began her advance in the process summoning a shield to her off-hand, it appeared to be this gem's weapon, it's face depicted a blooming rose, the entire shield was made of this weird pink metal, which complemented the rose, suddenly the large gem stopped catching Ruby off guard and bowed, Ruby confused by this sudden imitated it, jumping as her enemy spoke "We will begin with 21 ft between us, agreed?" the gem said setting up the grounds for a duel, Ruby still confused merely nodded as they put 21 ft between them.
