Author's notes: We've did it we hit 100 views on this story, this is but the first milestone I have for this story, yet this brings me so much joy more than you readers could ever imagine, so let's get this story out there and get another couple hundred views and build ourselves a community.

“You don't need to worry, I would beat them up anyway!” said a youthful, but rough voice “Huh?” Pearl exclaimed as she looked up to see this voice coming out of Garnet, an eyebrow was cocked in confusion, a small frown appeared on Garnet's face “Why do you looked confused, like I said they don't stand a chance!” Garnet said once more, in this youthful rough voice, a cocky smile broke free from the usually emotionless gem, surprising Pearl, it took Pearl a few seconds to finally realize that this Ruby talking to her, they must have unfused their consciousness's, a large smile spread across her face, it's been years since Pearl had even heard Ruby, let alone seen her, ever since... Rose's death Pearl stopped as her heart lurched in pain at that thought, her smile slowly faded, scaring Ruby.
Inside of Garnet's mind
“Sapphire I don't know what to do, she's sad again.” Ruby told Sapphire in frustration “I'm no good at talking to people like this.” Ruby said to a manifestation of Sapphire who appeared in front of her “What are you talking about Ruby, you did great.” Sapphire said walking up to Ruby and giving her quick kiss on the cheek before walking past her, Ruby blushed heavily “Well I guess.” Ruby said blathering in a love drunk state, Sapphire glanced back with a loving smile “I'll take over.” Sapphire said before disappearing from Ruby's consciousness, taking control of Garnet.
Outside of the mind of Garnet
Sapphire looked back down at Pearl, seeing her troubled expression, she attempted to ease her mind “Don't worry, “Pearl I don't foresee Homeworld attacking.” Sapphire said her calm tone replacing Ruby's rough one “Thank you...um.” Pearl said confused on what to call her right now, hearing the calm voice of Sapphire helped calmed her mind “Garnet.” they said as they fused back together, adjusting her shades with a smile, she lent Pearl a hand pulling her off of the cold floor, they both started for the window, breathing a sigh of relief that the stranger was standing in the exact same spot “He hasn't moved.” Garnet stated plainly “But why? He had enough time to move to a more favorable position.” Pearl asked out loud “Maybe he's afraid to move, we have caught him sneaking up to the house.” Garnet reasoned “Perhaps.” Pearl said in deep thought “Well we have to face them at some point.” Garnet said Ruby's personality breaking through the mysterious veil of Garnet, Pearl let loose a breathy sigh “You're right, I'll go out there.” this shocked Garnet “Are you sure, Pearl?” Garnet asked in worry, Pearl got a cheeky smile “I thought you said they didn't stand a chance.”
