"I'm tired..." Earth whimpered, dragging her paws across the star grass. "Don't worry, Earth. We'll be home soon, alright?" the Sun replied calmly. Peering over her shoulder, the Sun sighed softly as she watched the little puppy. The Sun sat down and wrapped Earth in her fluffy tail. Comforted by the warmth radiating from her, Earth pressed herself against her body. Licking the top of her head gently with her tongue, the Sun was concerned about Earth. Her memory wasn't getting any better. In fact, it seemed to be getting worse.

"Hey, Sun!" a voice suddenly called out. It carried a tone of friendliness and delight. Hearing it, the Sun knew exactly who the speaker was without looking up. Let's just say it was a good thing she wore shades all the time. Raising her head, she didn't have much reaction time before she was suddenly bowled over by the star dog Sirius. Wagging her fluffy tail, the blue and white dog happily licked her face as she woofed, "Long time no see, girl!"

"Is that another joke about my vision?" a grumpy voice muttered in response. "No, Polaris. Sirius is talking to the Sun," a male voice replied kindly. A grunt followed. Politely pushing Sirius off of her, the Sun yipped when she saw her friends. On the right was the blind white star dog Polaris, otherwise known as the North Star. On the right was the blue star dog Rigel. Her heart pounding in her chest, the Sun shuffled her foot nervously as she declared, "Hey, guys."

"Hi, Sun," Rigel woofed, his gaze meeting the Sun's. They didn't break their gaze until Sirius chimed in, "Ooh! Are we having a staring contest?"

The two immediately stopped looking at each other in response to that. Clearing her throat, the Sun asked, "So... what are y'all up to?"

Sirius opened her mouth to answer, but Polaris beat her, asking while he was blindly sniffing Earth's face, "What are you doing with a planet dog?"

"A planet dog!?" a voice spoke, prompting frowns to appear on the four star dogs' faces as it continued, "And I thought you couldn't sink any lower, Sun."
