Natsu P.O.V

I crushed my lips to Lucys, catching her off guard. She was tense but soon she relaxed and I felt her lean into the kiss. We pulled away and I rested my forehead against hers.

"I thought I was gonna lose you.." I whispered. I could feel moister at the corner of my eyes but I ignored it.

"Natsu..."

"Lucy I love you, I don't ever want to be away from you again." she was silent for a moment and I finally looked at her. She smiled at me, a single year falling from her eye. "I love you too Natsu." She hugged me tightly. I wrapped my arms around her and lifted us into the air.

I had forgotten all about the city as they cheered at us. I didn't really care about them, only the beautiful girl in my arms. I would never let her go again.
