Lucy P.O.V

Surely I heard her wrong, dragon?! "Your kidding right? I mean... not a real dragon?" I asked nervously.

Levy grinned."No a real dragon," I gapped at her as Natsu lept to his feet and ran towards Grey. Levy hopped up on to a table,"Have a seat and I will explain." I nodded and sat beside her.

"Natsu is the son of the guardian dragon Igneel," I gasped." You mean the same Igneel who protected the land for hundreds of years?" She nodded. "The same. When Natsu was young and saw the troubled times the world was in he wanted to protect the people, not just the land. His father agreed and sealed him into a human form so he could blend. When Natsu was still young his father was killed...." Levy looked down sadly.

"By who?" She looked up at me,"The king," I gasped. That explains why he is part of Fairy Tail. I looked over to the dragon as he fought Grey. He was so lively. "Ever since then he has been doing everything he can to protect people." Levy smiled.

I nodded smiling back.
"So Lucy," I looked up to see Erza walking towards me. "Will you be staying here at the guild? Or taking residence elsewhere?" I blinked. "I didn't really think about it," I looked to Levy."Where do you stay Levy?"

"Well, since I'm on a job I stay at the castle in the mages hall." I thought for a minute,"Well you can't go back without me, it will raise questions..."

"How I put you both on that job then," the master said as he walked up to us. "And after the sun sets you can report back here and start training." I nodded, a wide grin on my face but then I thought of something. "How will we get here and back? Levy is to tiny to get me up and down the cliff,"

Master turned towards the now destroyed guild,"Natsu!" "What gramps?! Can't you see I'm busy?!" he punches Grey in the side."You two stop fighting and get over here!" he stretched his arm out and grew as he smashed it on the boys.

I gulped in surprise. He drug Natsu over to them, "Iv got a job for you." "Eh?" he asked as he rubbed his head. "You are to escort the girls to and from the castle every day. You are in charge of their safety. " Natsu nodded and grinned,"Sure thing gramps!"

There was something about that smile of his that made my chest feel funny. "We will start your training tomorrow Lucy, so why don't the three of you head back?" We nodded and headed for the door.

"Since Natsu is here we can just fly back." Levy said as she lifted herself into the air."Eh?" I squeeked as Natsu lifted me up bridal style after pulling his hood up."Ready?" Before I could answer he lept into the air, and I saw large red scales wings burst from his back. I gasped as he shot into the air to follow Levy.

I threw my arms around his neck and clung to him making him laugh. It made my heart race."I won't drop ya, I promise!" I looked up at his big grin and could help but return it.

The trip that took me and Levy an hour took the three of us only twenty minutes. He set me down just outside of the gate making sure there were no guards. "I will be back after sunset," he waved before taking to the air again.

Levy and I quickly made our way to our separate rooms quickly. I had to make it back before the head maid came to wake me. I quickly changed and threw myself into bed moments before the door opened.

"Time to get up," a woman with long blue hair called. Ah Aquarius, I loved her but she could be cold some times. I pulled myself out of bed and acted like I had just woken up. This was going to be a long day.

Natsu P.O.V

The wind rushed through my hair as I made my way back to the guild. 'Lucy Heartfillia huh?' I thought. I couldn't help but smile. 'There is something about her'
