A/n: The dragon form above is for a new, introduced character and it belongs to @The_Gayest_Showmen.

Third POV

A boy at the age of thirteen stood in-front of the main entrance to Thunder-Hill Corps, glancing at a letter with a frown.

'I hope the Queen wasn't angry I chose to do this...Oh well, Let's just get this "Registration" over with.' The boy thought, rolling his eyes at the end of his thought, walking in.

Stella's POV

I watched, leaning against the door frame in our room, as Patrick put Ersor asleep as he sung softly in her ear. I smiled as Ersor kept fluttering her eyes in an attempt to stay awake, but her final attempt was futile, as she finally fell asleep. Patrick smiled softly, finishing the song, as he looked over at me, standing. He walked over to me, wrapping an arm around my waist lightly. I kissed his cheek lightly, laying my head on his shoulder.

"Rae's going to stay with her while we go for a fly. We've been cooped up for a little while in the palace, that and I've been wanting to show you my and my mother's favorite place to enjoy peace for a while." I said, looking up at him, smiling slightly.

Patrick chuckled, pecking my lips. "What about your duties as Queen?" He asked, raising a brow.

I smiled innocently. "Who said the Queen couldn't enjoy time with her mate?" I asked.

Patrick shook his head slightly with a smirk. "Well, you got me there." He said, kissing me.

I kissed him back, as the kiss turned passionate and full of love. Pulling back slightly, I looked up at him with a smile, hearing Rae's footsteps coming into the room. I glanced at her with a grateful look.

"Thank you for watching her, Rae. I couldn't have asked a better best friend." I spoke to her quietly, careful of Ersor in the other room.

Rae chuckled, smirking at me playfully. "I'm your ONLY best friend, Queen." She said quietly.

I shook my head with a smile. "I'm not sure if you want to call me Queen, when we're alone, Rae. I'm not forcing you." I said to her, raising a brow at her.

Rae smiled. "I know, but I do it anyways. Go on you two, enjoy yourselves." She said, walking into the room with a playful smirk in my direction, making me roll my eyes playfully.

When the door closed, Patrick glanced down at me.

"You do know you picked one hell of a human to befriend, right?" He asked, making me nod.

"Yeah, I know, but that makes her that more sincere to me. Everything that could have given her a reason to leave, she didn't. She's stuck by me through thick and thin. I can't thank her enough for that, Patrick." I said, shrugging slightly.

I watched him smile sadly. "Come on, lets go for that fly you mentioned. I'm sure we both need it." He said, leading us to the gardens.

Rien's POV

I stood infront of Thomas, mentally cursing him and his family, but listened to him.

"It says here that you ran away from home to become a Hunter. Why?" He asked sharply, his accent was sharp but smooth, if that made any sense.

"I wanted to help hunt down dragons, and end their existence from this world, Sir." I said, looking him in the eyes, mentally cringing.

Thomas rose a brow slightly, leaning back in his chair slightly, looking me over curiously before saying,

"Tell me, boy, how you feel about these...flying snakes." Thomas said with as much venom in words he described my kind.

If I was in my dragon form, my scales would have bristled in anger and hatred at this man, but while I was still in my human form, I had to try desperately from tensing at the description.

"They're vermin who are taking things that don't rightfully belong to them, the things we build are the things that they claimed they have a right to it as well. They take jobs that we have rights to, and homes that others can't have because they don't have a job to be able to pay the bills." I stated, watching Thomas as gave an impressed look, while on the inside, I was praying that my ancestors forgave me for the false I gave to my kind.

Thomas looked at one of his Hunters in the back of the room, whom I forgot was even there, and gave a slight to bring him forward. The man did as silently ordered, standing right beside me, his hands behind his back, almost in a slight military stance awaiting a command.

"Take the boy to where he needs to be. He starts training tomorrow." Thomas said sharply, glancing at me with a slightly fond look.

"Sir." The Hunter said with a nod, and turned to me, grabbing my bicep carefully, leading me to the door.

It took everything in me not to growl, and flash my eyes, fearing I'd fail my Queen so quickly. I allowed myself to be pulled wherever the hunter needed me to go. Hopefully, I could get some information as soon as possible.

Stella's POV

I flew side by side with Patrick as we headed to my and momma's favorite spot, as I used to call it when I was only five. I remember I would brag about the place to Patrick when we were still just naive hatchlings, not understanding what was happening in the world then, and he would beg me to have momma take him with us the next time, but I always told him,

"Someday, Martin, when we're BIG dragons. Then we can go together!" I said excitedly, watching Martin look at me skeptically.

"Arreee yooouu suuurrreee?" He asked, dragging out his words carefully, making sure I wasn't teasing him again.

I nodded excitedly. "Yeah!"

"Pinkie promise?" He asked, holding up his left pinkie.

I smiled, connecting my right pinkie with his left.

"Pinkie promise." I agreed, watching him smile.

I chuckled softly at that day, we had to stay inside because of the rain, but we still managed to make the most out of those days.

I watched Patrick glance at me curiously. "What's got you chuckling?" He asked, smiling slightly as he brushed against me slightly as we flew.

I smiled at him. "Remembering what I told you when we were hatchlings." I said fondly.

I watched as he smiled, probably remembering it as well. He chuckled, shaking his head lightly, looking at me.

"I can't believe how close we were." He said, nuzzling my cheek as we flew.

I hummed, nuzzling him back.

"We still are. It's just been a while since we seen each other." I said, noticing how close we were to my and momma's spot, getting quiet. Realizing just how long it's been since I came here, afraid of being caught by hunters.

"How long has it been since you've been here?" I heard Patrick ask, dragging me out of my thoughts.

"Maybe...eighteen...twenty years?" I said, unsure exactly of how long it's been.

I looked at Patrick, seeing him look at me sadly. I nuzzled him on his cheek, reassuringly, before looking forward, hoping the future will be better for all of us.
