Patrick's POV
I stayed on Stella's shoulders until we got to the 'War Room', as Stella calls it. Once we got close, I hopped down from her shoulders, and shifted human. When we walked into the room, One of the colonel's to my right, Colonel Ierram Caskbrew, looked up from the others, who were still arguing over one of the choices, nodding once towards me in greeting.

"I see you found the Queen?" He asked, walking over, chuckling, getting a smile from me.

"I did." I said, glancing at the others, "They're still arguing? I would have thought they would have calmed down by the time I got back." I asked, glancing at Ierram.

He snorted. "They got worse after you left, but I'm glad your back because-" He stopped himself, as Stella walked past us, heading straight to the arguing males.

I tensed slightly, not liking this outcome, but my thoughts were stopped very quickly.

"Enough! There is no reason to be arguing about this. We will figure something out, until then, you need to act like Civilized adults, not hatchling who can't seem to agree on who gets to choose the playground activity first." She said sharply, and, by my guess, had her eyes narrowed at each of them.

One of the males to her right, Colonel Chithan Havengust, nodded curtly.

"Our sincerest apologies, your highness, but some of us were disagreeing with what Colonel Herthrand suggested." Colonel Chithan answered shortly, glaring sideways at said mentioned Colonel, Who glared back.

"It's not like yours is any better, Havengust." Herthrand Windmaul said gruffly, seeing as he's much larger than Chithan, who was leaner and taller.

"I don't need to hear you two squabbling like hatchlings, I just want to know what is being suggested, and whether or not I will agree." She said sharply, quickly silencing the two.

I glanced at Ierram, who was watching Stella talk to the two Colonels as if they really were hatchlings.

"It seems she takes after the previous Queen in more ways than one." He said thoughtfully, making me smirk slightly and chuckle.

"What makes you say that?" I asked, watching Stella look over the plans the other Colonel's came up with.

"Her beauty, for one," He started, making me look at him with a raised brow, knowing that he didn't mean it in a way some would have perceived it, "But mostly it's her fiery passion for making sure her people are always put first, as well as their safety, before hers. She takes her role seriously, and makes sure everyone remembers that, but just enough so they aren't afraid to consult in her. I would bet that if I didn't know she had arrived only two days earlier and her Uncle wasn't on the throne, I would have thought she had been here the whole time." He finished, making me smile over at her.

"I'm sure it just comes naturally with her. She's easy to get along with." I replied, snorting when she smacked on of the Colonels over the head.

Stella's POV

I went over the plans that they came up with, and one of them intrigued me.

"What's this about a hatchling going undercover in Thomas's corporation?" I asked, as a Colonel, who introduced himself as Gargarth Runesworn, looked at the others triumphantly, and pointed to a file behind the plan.

"The hatchling was willing to help us with the plan. He is to get any information on Thomas and what he plans, and hopefully, in the future, we can infiltrate Thomas's institute to drop his hunters in numbers." He explained, making me ponder a moment.

"It seems well thought out, but does he know the risks?" I asked, concerned for the hatchling's well being, getting a nod from Colonel Garagarth.

"He did, and we double checked with him to be sure." He answered, getting a slightly nod from me.

"Then we'll go with this. If it gets to dangerous for him or he gets caught, pull him out immediately. I'm not risking a hatchlings life for us." I said shortly, getting a nod from everyone.

"Yes, your Highness." They said in unison, as I walked back to where Patrick and one of the Colonels were.

"I take it you came to a decision?" Patrick asked, wrapping an arm around my waist lightly, pulling me against his side lightly, kissing my cheek.

I chuckled, frowning softly. "I did, but I'm not sure if I made the right one." I said softly.

The Colonel beside Patrick was apparently listening, as he said,

"Your Highness, I understand that you have some slight doubt with yourself, but I think that your decision will come out fruitful with information and results."

I smiled at him, grateful for his insight. "Thank you..."

"Colonel Ierram Caskbrew, your highness." He said, giving a slight bow.

I nodded slightly as he straighten up again.

"Thank you Colonel Ierram, for what you said. I just think sometimes I'll end up like my Uncle." I said, and Patrick gently squeezed my side in reassurance.

"You won't end up like him, and never will. You've already proved to everyone here that you can be the Queen they need, and I'm sure word will manage to go across the states, and everyone else will hear of your accomplishments." Patrick said reassuringly, nuzzling my cheek lightly.

I smiled softly, nuzzling back, before pulling away slightly. "I need to get back to Ersor before she manages to drive Kyla and Rae insane." I said, kissing his cheek, watching him nod.

"Don't get lost." He said jokingly, with a slight smirk.

I giggled, as I pulled away completely, heading to the door. "I ran through these halls as a hatchling, I know my way around." I tossed over my shoulder, smirking playfully at him, watching his eyes flash yellow once, before returning to normal.

I headed down the hall, and into the throne room, chuckling as I seen Ersor pretending to be me, telling Kyla and Rae where to go and what to be doing.
