Isaac walked over to the pedestal and picked up a white gemstone, at first glance, he couldn't tell if it was a moonstone or quartz. However, it glowed in a soft white light on his hand. He walked over to the large metal sphere, but Eleanor and Isamu were wondering what he was doing.

"What are you doing?" Asked Eleanor.

"I'm going to activate the Apollo observatory. That way, we never know if any threats come here" he replied.

"What if the airships are carrying members of the Black Leaves? Or airships that belonged to the Order of the Nations?" Questioned Isamu.

"Relax, I'll keep an eye out" replied Isaac with a reassuring smile.

Without further ado, he placed the white gemstone on the metal sphere. It absorbed the white gemstone, and it started to glow so brightly in white light. Then the circuitry all over the second floor glowed, before moving down to the first floor, restoring power to the Apollo observatory. He, Eleanor, and Isamu all covered their eyes from the bright light until their eyes adjust. Over at the dig site in the ruins, many researchers saw a flash of light coming from the mountains.

"Was that the Apollo observatory!?" Asked one researcher.

"It is! Someone must have solved the gate puzzle, and activated the observatory itself!" Replied the other researcher.

Back at the Apollo observatory, the trio were astonished that it is now activated. Isaac felt a strange sensation, as if he is reinvigorated with the power of light of the observatory itself. He wonders if he is stronger inside the Apollo observatory, but at the same time, he also wonders what to do now.

"What do we do now?" He asked.

"I think we should contact his imperial majesty that we had activated the Apollo observatory, that way members of the Black Leaves will come here" replied Isamu.

"I fear this draws too much unwanted attention, we should leave until coast is clear" said Eleanor.

"Calm down, Eleanor. Besides, there's no way some bratty kids will stop us from using this observatory. We're basically unstoppable!" Said Isaac with a grin.

Suddenly, the trio heard the sound of an airship getting closer until everything vibrates. They peered through the window, and what they saw was an airship. Unfortunately, the airship doesn't belong to the Black Leaves since it didn't have the organization's emblem, but rather it belongs to the Order of the Nations. It freaked the trio out, finding out that since they activated the Apollo observatory, it's flash of light drew the attention of the Order of the Nations.

"Come out, members of the Black Leaves. We know you're in there! You will not use the Apollo observatory for whatever dastardly plans you have in mind, so come quietly or we'll use brute force!" One of the soldiers on the airship called out.

"What do we do!? They got us surrounded, and using magic on them will not be a good idea!" Eleanor panicked.

"May I remind you that I am a light magician, therefore I can blast them with beams of light" said Isaac arrogantly.

"Don't be foolish! They have light magicians under their employ, so using your magic would mean they'll turn your magic on you" scolded Isamu.

Isaac looked at the airship, and he knows that it won't take long until the members of the Order will bombard the Apollo observatory without care for an ancient relic/ super weapon. Then he saw the look of resignation on the face of Isamu, wondering what the ink magician is thinking.

"I am sorry, Eleanor and Isaac. If they raid this place, I will have no choice but to fight back. I'll send you two to a different location, maybe to the Water Colossus. I don't care if I get killed or arrested, but it is an honor of meeting you two" said Isamu.

"Isamu, no! Don't! We can't have you sacrifice yourself for our safety, there has to be another way!" Said Eleanor with concern.

Unfortunately, the ink magician looked at both of them with sorrow. Knowing that it will be hard to change their minds, so it left him with no choice but to use his magic to send them far away from here. He clapped his hands together, causing both Eleanor and Isaac to float in mid air. He ignored their protests, since it will be hard on him to say goodbye. Then they both disappear in thin air, sending them to an unknown place. Afterwards, he heard thundering of footsteps coming from downstairs, and he prepares himself by creating ink based monstrous  constructs of ogres. As the members of the Order reached to the second floor, they saw him standing next to three hulking ink constructs. They all get ready to attack, until the commander walked in front of them.

"This is your last chance, surrender now or die. We can't let you use the Apollo observatory for the nefarious purposes of the Black Leaves, so if you were to surrender, we will arrest you and send you to a far off prison that contains many dangerous magicians. Refuse, and we will be ordered to kill you" the commander warned.

"Bring it" said Isamu with a smirk on his face.

Meanwhile

Back at the Black Leaves headquarters, Emperor Terra had finished reading the reports on the agents he had sent forth. However, a messenger rushed into the throne room carrying a satchel before stopping to catch his breath.

"Oh? What brings you here, messenger?" Asked Emperor Terra.

"Your majesty! I bring you some news regarding Isaac and others" announced the messenger.

"The light magician that I sent to the Apollo observatory? Oh well, what is the news on them?" He asked.

"Isaac and others have activated the Apollo observatory, but it had attracted the attention of the Order of the Nations. Ink magician Isamu has been killed, while the whereabouts of Isaac Noctua and water magician Eleanor are unknown" replied the messenger.

The emperor's face darkened, knowing that it was a bad idea of him sending Isaac and others while the Order is around.

"What of Caelum and the two he had picked out?" He asked.

"Apparently, they're still spying on the Order as we speak. Caelum Noctua is preventing Acrab and Erika from causing any casualties by keeping them in check, but what I hear, it won't last long until the members of the Order find out" replied the messenger.

"Very well, I shall dispatch a search party to go look for Isaac and Eleanor. Not to mention to look for Julius since he went missing at the Wind Tower, and since he at least failed, his punishment is overdue" said Emperor Terra.

"Alright, your highness" said the messenger.
