"Even the Demon fears of losing his Loved(?) ones"

~•~•~•~•~

'Om, please, don't make me lose my Chutki again', Anika grasped Omkara's hands, her eyes watering.

Omkara pulled away his hands hastily, 'What are you doing Anika? Please don't fold your hands before me!'

'Chutki', Anika hugged her little sister like a sloppy bear, 'I'll miss you!!'

'Om, buy her a phone. I need to keep in touch with her. I don't trust you with her', Shivaay ordered in his stern SSO tone.

'Don't worry Shivaay, I will', he got into the car following Gauri.

They dashed off to Panchghani.

After sometime, her stomach grumbled and Omkara looked at her arching his brow up.

Flushed in embarrassing pink, Gauri said, 'Omkaraji, we didn't eat our breakfast.'

Omkara pulled her cheek lovingly, 'What about our four days of starvation? And, you never maintain your time for meals or items.. You will get fat this way!' He pointed at his stomach, 'see! I take healthy food in adequate amount, this is why I don't suffer from the embarrassing gru..'

'Grrr', a grumble came from his stomach.

Now it was time for him to burn hard in embarrassment. His face turned beetroot red, eyes dilated and lips pressed in an herculean effort to muffle a laughter.

'What the.. Blush!!', Gauri started jumping on the car seat, 'the arrogant jerk can blush!! Oh my God! Oh my God!', wiping imaginary tears furiously, 'I never imagined to see the sadu like this way!! Happy tears! Happy tears!'

Omkara bursted in laughter and so did Gauri. When they were rolling upon the backseat holding their stomach, Omkara remembered the day they first met. The happy pain in his heart stung him again, and he stared at his little elf, laughing her heart out.

'Dandi! Bhavya! Park the car and feed yourselves. We're going to Puna.'

'Why Puna?'

'Exhibition Jaan',

'I'm sleeping then. And you guys please eat outside only. I'm gonna starve for four days so please don't make my punishment difficult', Gauri whined.

'Okay Ma'am', they said in unison and left for the nearest dhaba.

Gauri felt a wet yet heated soft touch along the croon of her neck and two muscular arms around her belly and back which were pressing her right side in a  broad, warm yet hard surface.

'Om.. Omkaraji! What are you doing?', she asked inhaling shallow breaths, her body squirming in discomfort.

'Well, since we are left alone in a locked car.. Let us make some use of it', a deep, husky voice breathed heat in her ear.

She was turned to face him. His eager hot mouth started trailing liquid fire all over her neck, collarbone, her minutely exposed shoulder through the neck of her loose t shirt. His hands also boldly entered in her top, squeezing and smoothening her soft waist. Pulling her on his lap, he started tending her feminine peaks of arousal. His lips and teeth grazing her through the fabric, and his hands roaming boldly at her back, caused to arch it on its own. A  sudden heat pooled at the pit of her stomach when he started grinding his hips against hers. She felt herself pooling for him, and her grip on his shirt near his chest got tighter.

'O.. Om.. Omkara..', she pushed him, unable to handle the intensity, she wanted to warn him, but his name left her lips as a moan.

'Say again Jaan', she felt as if she would burst inside herself if she heard the voice any more.

'O.. Omkaraji! I'm not.. I'm not feeling well. P.. Put me down, please', she gasped.

She was put down immediately and he smoothened the creases of her t shirt too.

She was hell scared, 'Omkaraji.. I'm sorry.. I, I ', she was cut by him.

Hugging her from aside, he started stroking her hair softly,' As you are my fiancée now, I should give you your space'.

'So, you want to keep it confined till our wedding?', her eyes dilated at his words.

She looked at him wide eyed, trying to digest the fact. He wants to marry me!!

But before she could protest, Dandi and Bhavya came back and this time Bhavya sat behind the steering.

Gauri looked out at the running landscape through the window, clenching her thighs together to prevent the ache between her legs, How can I marry when I don't love him?

The owner of the gallery just left kissing Omkara's feet to show his gratitude, 'Welcome Sir, welcome! We have reserved the best section of our gallery for you'

'Jaan, I guess this is the first time you have ever come to any art exhibition, let me guide you around', he held her hand lovingly and walked ahead, completely ignoring the blabber of the owner beside him.

Gauri was getting bored of sitting idly and watch him delivering speeches that flew higher than the ceiling over her head. So she informed Bhavya and left for another hall where an exhibition of another artist was held, alone.

This artist may be was a new one, for his section was empty. Some cleaning staff were wiping the marble floor and she stared at the paintings hung in the walls, large and very peculiar in appearance. She was so engrossed that she didn't notice when the staffs left through another door and soon after a hollow bursting sound entered her ears. Looking at her left, she saw the staffs' exit door burning in flames. Wildly dancing fire soon started to crumble down the highly inflammable paints, easels, canvases and soon the painting caught fire producing crackling sounds. In no time, the lightbulbs bursted and the whole room was illuminated by the blazing flames of hungry fire.

Gauri stood there sometime, feeling numb. Everything around her was on fire. If it continued, she would die, die of suffocation. The pungent smell of burnt paint and thick smoke clogged her nostrils and she started coughing and gasping badly. Her smoke allergy made the process of her breathing harder than it actually was.

Omkara was answering the reporters when the shriek bell of fire alarm tore the buzz of swarming visitors.

Bhavya jumped in fear, 'Master, ma'am has gone to another section! I gotta go!!', she ran through the scared mob, dodging them, Omkara and Dandi closely followed.

The scene before Omkara took him nineteen years back. He was scared, he had pyrophobia. He just wanted to run away from the hungry dancing flames seemingly  running towards him to engulf him inside its ever-hungry stomach, just how it engulfed her nineteen years back. And more to his dread, he saw a flash of his Gauri struggling in there.

'Gauri!!!', he screamed.

'I'm trying to get in master!', Bhavya tried to enter, but the wooden planks falling simultaneously, made her step back.

Gauri suddenly remembered the abandoned buckets of cleaning water. She stumbled towards the staffs' exit door. Taking one of the buckets, she poured the dirty water over herself. Taking another bucket in her hands, she dashed towards the main door of the section.

She stumbled again due to the heavy bucket in her hands. So emptying that bucket too, she made a run, tears blurring her vision, loud wails echoing in her head, finally, dodging a falling wood clumsily, she jumped out through the main door.

Omkara was sobbing crouching on the floor. But, as soon as Gauri made it through the door, he too jumped forward, holding a wounded Gauri safely in his arms.

'Jaan! Jaan! Open your eyes! Jaan, are you okay??', he started patting her impatiently.

She wanted to reassure him that she made it, she was saved, but a black cloak covered her vision and her other senses fell numb.

I suck at accident descriptions. But tried to show the fire incident as realistic as possible. Hope you like it.
And don't forget the incident that happened nineteen years back.
And yeah, pyrophobia means, phobia of fire.

And what a lovely response!! I got 1k+ votes!! Thank you so much for your love guys. I'm elated. ❤💓💕💖💗💙💚💛💜💝💞💟

Happy reading,
With love,
Sarani.
